Course Overview

D'Andrea Golf Club offers a refreshing golf experience set against the rugged, natural landscape of Sparks, Nevada. This public 9-hole course invites players of all levels to engage with a layout that balances challenge with accessibility. The course stretches to just over 3,300 yards from the gold tees, demanding precision from tee to green while rewarding thoughtful shot management. Its design integrates rolling hills and broad fairways, with holes weaving through an arid desert environment punctuated by native shrubs and natural rock formations. The greens are quick and well-maintained, consistently testing both putting touch and approach accuracy.

Players will notice the course’s authentic mountain-desert character—open vistas stretch toward distant peaks, while occasional breezes add a subtle layer of difficulty, prompting varied shot selections. Despite being a 9-hole facility, D’Andrea’s layout offers diversity, with uphill and downhill shots, well-placed bunkers guarding key landing areas, and challenging doglegs that require strategic planning.

Aside from the on-course features, the practice facilities deserve mention. The driving range includes advanced technology like Toptracer, enhancing practice sessions by tracking shot data, although some recent guest feedback has called for improvements on range ball quality and system reliability. The clubhouse delivers welcoming service with a relaxed atmosphere that complements the pace of play.

Golfers planning a visit should come prepared for desert conditions: sturdy footwear with traction for uneven terrain is advisable, and hydration is essential under Nevada’s sun. Walking is encouraged, as the course’s moderate elevation changes and compact length make for a satisfying stroll without excessive strain. The course’s approachable but engaging challenges make it a worthwhile stop for locals and travelers seeking a scenic round that tests skills without overwhelming.

While theClub continues to refine certain amenities, its blend of natural beauty, careful layout, and solid playing conditions establish D’Andrea Golf Club as a distinctive spot in the northern Nevada golf landscape.

I’m a local and use the facilities weekly. The fact they have not replaced their range balls is borderline criminal. The launch monitors are cool, but for $25/100 balls, the balls should be better. It’s laughable that they still have balls from the D’Andrea range prior to shut down in 2008. Still leaving 5 stars because the course and facilities are great! JUST ORDER NEW BALLS, it’s becoming a running joke in the local golf community.

Well folks, happy about the courses reopening. It is in good shape and fun. However, the Top Tracer at the driving range rarely works, yet they still charge 20.00 for 70 balls. This is ridiculous and needs to be solved.

Arrived 10 minutes late due to traffic and they wouldn’t let us play

Super fun course with breathtaking views. This is by no means an easy course either. The 2nd hole is super fun up in the hills. Fairways and tee boxes could use a mowing but they were still green and that’s what’s important. Price wise it doesn’t bother me to much as it’s 3300 yards from gold. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be back.

Country club service. Brought me a cart to the parking lot to start the day, and then while putting out on 9 someone was already there cleaning my clubs, finally came and got the cart from me at my car. 2nd to none, impressive. Greens have come back so quickly from reopen, now smooth and quick. Rest of the course is also coming back nicely. Glad to have 9 of these holes back. Update 6.29.25 Slipping big time. $20 for 70 balls that barely have dimples on them and the top tracer actually only read about 40% of my shots. Probably won’t be back. Love the course but $50+ for 9 holes at a course that isn’t all the way back is a bit much.

Enjoyed the course on opening day to the public! Fairway conditions were nice, though the bunkers and tee boxes could use a little bit of work. A little pricey for 9 holes, but it's close to home so we will probably visit another time or two this season. The Toptracer range is also super cool! Beautiful views all around 👍🏻

Not golf related but words can not describe how thankful I am for the staff here! My Bestfriends dog got out & the staff was so helpful in finding him on their property. Without them he wouldn’t be home safe. Thank you!

Course conditions and layout is excellent! The only issues was the sand traps, hardly any sand mostly packed dirt in most of the traps.
