Course Overview

Riverlinks Golf Club in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, offers a straightforward yet inviting golf experience for players seeking a relaxed outing without sacrificing the nuances of the game. This 9-hole public course allows golfers the flexibility to play two loops for a full 18-hole round, making it accessible for beginners and a convenient choice for locals and visitors alike. The layout combines elements of parkland style with gentle rolling terrain, framed by open fairways and patches of mature trees that define each hole’s character without overwhelming play.

Golfers will appreciate the course’s walkable design and manageable length, which encourages steady pace and casual strategic play. The par 3 7th hole stands out as a subtle challenge, requiring precise distance judgment over a modest hazard. While the greens occasionally show signs of wear, they generally roll true enough to test short-game skills. Bunkers and traps are present but play more as framing elements than severe penalties, inviting players to take smart aim rather than cautious routes.

The course’s modest green fees and friendly atmosphere create a welcoming environment for players of all skill levels. It is a favored stop for travelers who seek a low-pressure golf session and those looking to practice on a well-maintained driving range available at affordable rates.

The Riverlinks Clubhouse provides basic amenities and a staff noted for their approachable and helpful demeanor. Pro shop options are limited, so bringing personal gear such as tees and balls is advisable. Walking is encouraged across the course, with short distances between holes and a mostly smooth terrain suitable for comfortable shoes.

For golfers planning their visit, mornings or late afternoons offer the best light and pace, especially to avoid warmer daytime temperatures. Whether playing for practice or a light round, Riverlinks Golf Club offers a sincere, unpretentious golf outing within reach of Tahlequah’s town center.

Cheap enough, but greens were patchy in spots and sand traps are just like concrete potholes. Scorecards were just photocopies which had been xerox'd so much you couldn't read most of the information on them. "Pro shop" had no tees for sale... said, "we don't do that."

Friendly staff and a cool course. I wish they had range balls, but you can bring your own at hit as much as you want at the driving range. Just got to pick up after yourself.

It's a 9 hole course but you're allowed to play 2 rounds. I love that it's not too busy most of the time! The staff are always friendly and informative 😁

I was in town for work and had to kill some time when I decided to go find a driving range to hit a bucket of balls. Range balls were only $3, the range was well maintained and mowed. The staff was really nice too.

Played 7/20/24. Course was in really good shape, greens were a little fuzzy but I will take that over dead spots. Easy except for the 235 yd par 3. $10 green fee is the best part!
