Eel river golf course is not a long course but it has enough challenging holes to keep things interesting. In my humble opinion it is a great course for beginners or intermediate golfers. Prices are very good and the staff is friendly.

We planned to take our adult kids out for their first time golfing to celebrate our daughter’s 23rd birthday. We had 3 carts and 2 in each cart. Apparently we were supposed to only have 3 and 3…were we to put the 3rd person on top of the other 2 in their cart or was that person supposed to walk the entire course? A rude little guy came out and said we needed to split up so we didn’t slow up the other golfers. We paid for 4 and only 3 golfed in the first group because of the policy…why did they sell it that way? We played best ball to be considerate and eventually we had to wait for the group in front of us. The other 2 in our group ended up with us because of the back up making us very uncomfortable because we didn’t want to have staff show up and make us leave. Other groups had 4-6 in them but apparently it was fine for them. I heard the course was a good one and wanted to try it and won’t be recommending it to anyone because of the rude staff.

The course was beautiful and had a really great round going until some short fella came over right in the middle of our playoff round and kicked us off. He definitely could’ve handled the situation a little nicer, as we were just trying to get a winner. Instead he was very rude and tarnished our view of Eel River. Just let the kids play and don’t be an ass next time! Would easily be a 5 star for me if the little lad didn’t ruin our round. God bless.

It's always a great time and the course hits the sweet spot as far as the layout. If you play a lot or just begining you'll find something to like here. Don't let the location keep you off this course, it's only six miles out of Ft Wayne and worth it. Be aware your passport or BOGO coupons are only good after noon here.

Played here 6/4/2023 great course in awesome shape! Those domed greens are nothing to play about and they are fast! Only complaint is it’s confusing navigating the course since they changed the hole numbers compared to before

The staff is so unfriendly. I wouldn’t recommend going here to anyone. The rudeness level is shocking. Very outdated as well.
