Course Overview

Rolling Meadows Golf Course, located at 6514 Old Milford Rd in Milford, Kansas, offers a genuine golf experience that delivers both challenge and charm across its 18 holes. This public course presents a classic parkland layout where well-maintained fairways meet subtle elevation changes, testing shot-making precision amidst natural stretches of Kansas prairie and water hazards.

The course spreads out over a thoughtfully designed footprint that balances playability with engaging strategy for a broad range of golfers. While the fairways invite aggressive play, the thick rough demands careful accuracy—often punishing errant shots and encouraging refined course management. The greens roll consistently true, supporting a variety of putts that require a steady touch and attentiveness to subtle breaks.

Rolling Meadows is known for its well-kept bunkers, which complement the natural contours and frame several approach shots with quiet menace. The layout guides players through holes that alternate between open vistas and more secluded pockets of mature trees, giving a sense of rhythm and flow without overwhelming pace of play.

Wildlife sightings, including local turtles and birds, add a gentle presence to the round and enrich the outdoor atmosphere beyond just golf. While some sections can become soft or muddy after rain, thoughtful maintenance ensures the course remains playable and inviting for most seasons.

The clubhouse operates with a welcoming spirit, offering amenities suited for every visitor to prepare for a round or unwind after. Staff emphasize a friendly, community-driven approach, encouraging players to enjoy the course’s variety of tees and make the most out of their visit, with singles often accommodated when traffic is light.

Players hoping to walk will find the terrain manageable, but should equip themselves with sturdy footwear due to the occasional wet conditions. The course’s mix of challenge and accessibility appeals to novices aiming to improve and to seasoned golfers seeking a competitive yet enjoyable test. Rolling Meadows stands as a solid regional destination that rewards commitment with memorable golf and a genuine sense of place within the Kansas landscape.

My team decided to play another 9 after 18, after the person working at the clubhouse told us we were free to play whichever 9 we wanted we were then told while teeing off on the 10th that we were not allowed to play the back 9. On the first hole of our back 9 we were verbally told that we were “killing the people working there”, as we maintained pace of play and played almost par golf and that we needed to let the team that was 15 minutes behind us play through, course is nice but staff is awful

This is a proper golf course! Worth every penny. Greens are consistent and true. Bunkers are well kept even in December. Staff super friendly and hard working. Let you play as a single when it’s not full. Loved it, my first time ever at this course and couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Pros: Super affordable with decent fairways. Cons: Thickest rough I’ve ever played in. Be prepared to lose a lot of balls. If you hit it in the rough, be mentally prepared to not find it. The grass just eats balls out there.

This is the course that got me my Letter in Highschool! Love this place the new course is beautiful! The new things that they have done to the grounds is really nice. Very well kept. Deceptive greens. Some muddy areas but what could you expect after a small storm lol. I will always come back here and play. A life long of great golf memories have happened at this amazing course. The wildlife was really cool too lots of turtles.
