Fort Wayne, Indiana, USANortheast Indiana

Arlington Park Golf Course in Fort Wayne is a well-maintained 9-hole executive layout perfect for beginners and quick rounds. This manageable course combines enjoyable par 3 and par 4 holes with approachable terrain and a relaxed clubhouse environment.

Course Overview

Located on the western edge of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Arlington Park Golf Course offers a straightforward yet satisfying 9-hole experience that strikes a balance between accessibility and challenge. This executive-style course caters ideally to beginners, juniors, and golfers seeking a quick round without sacrificing quality. Its blend of par 3 and par 4 holes invites players to focus on accuracy and strategy over sheer length, creating a fun environment to develop fundamentals or refine scoring.

The layout is compact and thoughtfully maintained, with fairways that flow through well-kept turf and greens that reward careful approach shots. While the course doesn’t stretch extraordinarily far in yardage, each hole presents distinct elements—from shallow bunkers protecting the putting surfaces to gentle undulations that test short game skills. Arlington Park takes advantage of a neighborhood setting where mature trees and subtle elevation changes add character without overwhelming the pace of play.

Its welcoming atmosphere is amplified by a friendly staff and an affordable price point, making it a favored community spot, especially on weekday mornings when traffic is lighter. The clubhouse offers food and beverage options that complement the round, allowing golfers to relax after play with a casual bite or drink.

Walkers will find the terrain manageable, encouraging a rhythm that connects shot to shot while absorbing the outdoor surroundings. Although tee times have recently become mandatory, the system aims to streamline play and reduce wait times, though some users have noted room for improvement in this regard.

Designed primarily for those who appreciate efficient rounds without the pressure of tournament conditions, Arlington Park Golf Course serves as a solid introduction to golf or a convenient option for sharpening skills close to home. Its blend of approachable holes, practical amenities, and steady upkeep come together to make this course a reliable choice for players looking for enjoyable, low-key golf in Fort Wayne.

If you are into misogynistic values, this is the course for you. Gary will take you on a journey to the 1800s when women were refused access to the course. Of course women can play here now, unless it is in Gary’s special year end event. In this event he absolutely does not want women to participate. Oddly, his proudest accomplishment seems to be that he has kept women out of the event for 25+ years. Spend the money and play somewhere else.

Where do I even begin…. Been playing here since 2012. I am never ever one to complain but something has to change regarding the tee time system. All summer, I have been told that tee times are required to play this course, which has never been the case. Now that tee times are required I call ahead of time and make one. However, after making a tee time for a specific time slot, I have three groups lined up each time. Seems extremely pointless that I’m told to wait in line when I have made a tee time for about 15 minutes prior. Please change this up because it is driving loyal golfers away from the course.

Great Par 3/4 Golf Course. We took 3 teen boys learning to golf and was probably one of the best Ft Wayne courses to do so. I highly recommend beginners as it's manageable not having big par 5 holes, and it's not crazy busy in the weekday mornings. Friendly staff and well-kept course. Very fair pricing for this 9 hole course. Open to the public.
