Course Overview

Old Toccoa Farm presents a compelling mountain golf experience that challenges and delights with every hole. Located in Mineral Bluff, Georgia, this 18-hole course embraces the rugged contours of its mountainous terrain while offering a distinctive blend of layout styles. The routing moves fluidly along dramatic elevation changes, where tee shots demand precision and strategic thought. From towering tees, players often face sweeping vistas that extend deep into the North Georgia landscape, framing golf with natural grandeur that shifts throughout the round.

The course balances mountain golf’s inherent challenges with accessibility for a variety of skill levels. While elevation changes test shot-making and club selection, fairways remain generous enough to encourage adventure off the tee. Greens showcase complex undulations that reward thoughtful approaches and delicate putting, emphasizing speed control and reading subtle breaks. The routing also weaves alongside a clear mountain river, where a sequence of holes introduces a contrasting links-style feel with tighter lines and cleverly placed hazards.

Maintenance is consistently excellent, with lush fairways and smooth, fast greens that enhance playability without compromising the rugged character of the surrounding environment. The clubhouse offers panoramic views overlooking the course, creating a perfect spot to unwind after the round with an inviting outdoor patio and a well-regarded 19th hole bar. Facility amenities contribute to a well-rounded visit, appealing both to serious golfers and those seeking a scenic retreat.

Visitors should prepare for walking demands; sturdy footwear is recommended given the course’s elevation shifts and natural footing. The layout rewards patient shot planning and adaptability, making it a fitting venue for golfers who relish strategic mountain golf rather than raw length alone. Old Toccoa Farm’s compelling setting and thoughtful design make it a notable destination for travelers venturing to North Georgia, combining quality golf with memorable views and an engaging physical challenge.

Great time. Beautiful course with an exceptional 19th(bar) with amazing views. The only suggestion I might make is more effort on beautification around tee boxes(think azaleas and other flowery shrubs). Priced fairly considering how nice the course is. Staff was also great and the ranger was respectful when approached. Definitely will be back.

Very nice property and golf course a few minutes from blue ridge and worth the drive from Atlanta in my opinion. Made a tee time over the phone and the staff was really friendly. The course was a little on the shorter side but had a fun and challenging layout. Most of the greens were pretty complex with a good amount of undulation that is common in many new popular courses. True mountain golf with a lot of elevation changes. The entire course was in really good shape. I will definitely return to ply again

What mountain golf dreams are made of. An absolute stunner of a course that takes you up and down a picturesque north Georgia mountain with insane tee shot views and elevation changes. This amazing layout then winds you down alongside a gorgeous mountain river for some top tier links style holes. A must play.
