Course Overview
Eagle Landing Golf Club offers an engaging and thoughtfully designed 18-hole layout that challenges golfers while remaining approachable for a broad range of skill levels. Located in Orange Park, Florida, this public course weaves through a landscape shaped by gentle elevation changes and natural water features. The course balances open fairways with strategically placed bunkers and patches of native vegetation, inviting players to consider both precision and distance off the tee.
The setting is refreshingly diverse compared to typical Florida flats, with subtle mounding and mature trees lining many holes, giving a variety of shot-making options and visual interest. Water hazards, including a notable cement pond near the 10th hole, demand attention and add an element of risk and reward as you navigate the back nine. The putting surfaces offer a fair test, with greens rolling true but presenting opportunities to read breaks carefully.
Playability is a strong point here, as uneven tee boxes and fairways inject some character into each shot without compromising the flow of the round. Golfers will find the course neither overly punishing nor purely forgiving; it sits comfortably in the mid-range of difficulty, making it well-suited to both weekend players and those seeking a deliberate challenge.
At the heart of the club is a sizeable and welcoming clubhouse, where visitors can unwind after play. The staff, known for their professionalism and warmth—especially Alex, whose service extends beyond expectations—enhance the overall experience by catering to individual needs and fostering a friendly environment.
Eagle Landing also offers family-friendly amenities and hosts community events, making it more than just a place to play. The expansive deck overlooking the course provides a perfect vantage point to enjoy meals or drinks, rounding out a day that combines sport and social time.
When planning your visit, note that walking is encouraged to fully appreciate the course’s subtle shifts in terrain; comfortable golf shoes are recommended given the uneven fairways and tee boxes. While the greens may occasionally be undergoing maintenance, overall conditions remain solid throughout the year.
Eagle Landing Golf Club stands as an accessible, dynamic course ready to welcome players aiming to test their game in an inviting, thoughtfully maintained Florida setting.
Course Highlights

Very good golf course with a big club house. The fairways are somewhat challenging with mostly uneven surfaces. The tee boxes are not flat. Green conditions are okay in some holes with a lot of patches. Overall it is a good course

This was a hidden gem of a golf course. Could putt the greens even though they had a few spots where they were having repairs. Rolled true. Tee boxes and fairways in great shape. Clubhouse staff / starters and Marshall’s were friendly! The greens keepers and staff were amazing as well. Kept working but didn’t get in the way. Watch out for the cement pond behind 10!!!
