Casa Linda Oaks Golf Club

Jacksonville, Florida, USANortheast Florida

Casa Linda Oaks Golf Club delivers a versatile public golf experience with three distinct 9-hole courses set amid gently rolling pine and oak woodlands. Its approachable layouts make it suitable for all skill levels, offering strategic variety and comfortable walking conditions in Northeast Florida.

Course Overview

Casa Linda Oaks Golf Club offers a classic Florida golf experience spread across three distinct 9-hole courses, combining to create flexible 18-hole rounds that accommodate a variety of playing styles and skill levels. Located in Jacksonville, this public facility presents a layout that blends gently rolling terrain with mature pine and oak trees, crafting a setting that is both approachable for newer players and engaging for those seeking subtle challenges.

The three courses, often referred to as the White, Blue, and Red courses, vary in character and length, giving golfers the option to tailor their round. The White course is frequently praised for its open fairways and well-maintained greens that invite strategic shot-making without overwhelming players with complexity. The Blue course appeals to golfers looking for a slightly more technical layout with tighter corridors guarded by native vegetation. The Red course offers a brisk pace and straightforward design, ideal for beginners or those looking to fine-tune their short game.

Casa Linda Oaks benefits from a peaceful, parkland-style environment where lakes and natural wetlands weave through the property, influencing certain holes and requiring thoughtful navigation. The course conditions generally support smooth play, though seasonal maintenance such as aeration can impact green speed and firmness at times. Players will find the course well suited for walking, with manageable elevation changes and a complimentary practice area that includes putting greens and a driving range to prepare before tee-off.

Facilities at Casa Linda Oaks extend beyond the fairways through a friendly clubhouse that offers basic amenities and a pro shop to handle rental equipment and merchandise. The welcoming atmosphere encourages repeat visits and offers a comfortable setting to regroup after a round.

While the layout and setting encourage a relaxed but focused approach, golfers should come prepared for a course that rewards precision over power and appreciate the natural elements that influence each shot. Whether a visitor is beginning to explore the game or striving for a solid mid-handicap round, Casa Linda Oaks provides a reliably enjoyable destination in Jacksonville’s golf landscape.

Course Highlights

Three 9-hole courses—White, Blue, and Red—offer distinct layouts from open, forgiving fairways to tighter, more strategic holes framed by native grasses and water features. A sizable practice area supports warmups, and natural wetlands come into play on several holes, adding subtle complexity without overwhelming players.

This course is well maintained; the greens and fairways are in great shape on all 27 holes. The customer service in the pro shop is exceptional as well. Also, the driving range as well as practice areas are in excellent shape.

I don't golf. I do eat and it's a nice place to have lunch. The back porch is awesome to sit relaxed and have a cocktail 🍸

Amazing course! I was in town for a few days and played multiple rounds. The tracks was excellent and the white course was my favorite. Overall the course was in great shape and the pro shop was nice. The staff also treated me to the best of their abilities. Would recommend it anyone in the Jacksonville area.

It's a shame I feel compelled to do this because I used to play here regularly years ago but I had one of the worst golf experiences I've had in my life here. From the minute I showed up for my tee time this morning to the starter at 7:24 for a 7:30 Tee time. I was ready to go with my ten year old son. The starter proceeded to tell me rudely that there was a 15 minute prior rule and he gave away my tee time. He then proceeded to tell me he didn't know if he could get me in. I'm retired Marine Corps and I don't show up 15 minutes prior to anywhere anymore. Particularly for Golf. More importantly if you wanted me there you would have set my tee time to 7:15 or you would put something on the website or have the shop pro let me know there's a 15 minute prior rule when I booked. I have golfed courses all over the United States and most military bases. This is the first time and with my son going golfing for the first time on a course that I was ever spoken to as rudely as I was. Particularly for a recreational game I paid for. Of course he was just full of hot air because we were able to immediately play on the Blue course but of course he had no space on the white or red course all day (allegedly), so we played the blue course twice. I didn't mind because it was a good course for my son to have his first experience and learn on. That aside, my son was excited and I wasn't going to disappoint him so I took the high road. I will say that the course was in terrible shape. I understand the greens are a mess because you're planning on aerating sometime soon, but to say that they were in bad shape is an understatement. The entire course looked terrible. It's a shame because I remember enjoying playing here when I was stationed in the area back in 2008. I'll never return to this course again and will gladly pay an additional $30 to play a round elsewhere that takes care of their course and to ensure they don't get my business. I am using this experience as a teachable moment with my son on how you should conduct yourself among fellow golfers.
