Pine Creek Golf Course

Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, USAMiddle Tennessee

Pine Creek Golf Course offers a public 18-hole layout with rolling hills and large greens that challenge golfers of all levels. The front nine's open design contrasts with a more demanding back nine, making it an engaging destination in Middle Tennessee.

Course Overview

Set amid the gentle hills of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Pine Creek Golf Course offers an 18-hole public layout that balances accessibility with a touch of strategic challenge. The design unfolds across rolling terrain, where expansive fairways and large, undulating greens provide an engaging test for golfers of varying abilities, from beginners finding their rhythm to seasoned players seeking precise shot-making. The front nine displays a more open character, inviting players to attack holes with confidence, while the back nine demands greater focus as it tightens, with the final three par-5s stretching long against the prevailing wind. These finishing holes compel thoughtful club selection and patience, rewarding those who manage conditions well.

Pine Creek’s landscape, shaped by natural elevation changes and pockets of tree-lined corridors, encourages a comfortable walking experience, embraced by many players who prefer to move at their own pace. The course’s reputation for surprisingly firm and reliable conditions, even after rain, speaks to efficient drainage and maintenance practices that keep play steady through variable weather.

The clubhouse serves as a welcoming hub, staffed with attentive personnel who prioritize hospitality and ease of access. A well-equipped pro shop and a driving range with both natural tee and mat options round out the practice facilities. While food and beverage options are modest, they provide a practical refreshment stop after a round.

Pine Creek’s affordable pricing and open tee time policy make it a favored choice for local players and visitors alike, though recent rate adjustments have elicited mixed reactions. Regardless, the course remains a community fixture, inviting golfers eager to experience a Southern layout that combines straightforward design with pockets of demanding play.

Those planning a visit should consider morning tee times to avoid occasional slow play later in the day. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended due to varied footing across the course. Whether you seek a reliable day on the links or a place to hone your game in Middle Tennessee, Pine Creek delivers an approachable yet thoughtful golf experience.

Course Highlights

Large, undulating greens provide a subtle challenge and reward precision. The back nine’s long par-5s are notable for their length and exposure to prevailing winds, testing strategy and shot control. The course features a mix of open fairways on the front nine and tighter, tree-lined holes on the back, creating varied playing conditions throughout the round.

Fantastic public course with a great layout and big undulating greens. The front is more open than back. Last 3 par 5's played long, straight into the wind. Even with 3 days of rain, course was pretty dry. Proshop gentleman was nice and very accommodating by letting me walk out solo in front of everyone, even without a tee time. Highly recommend this course any time off yes

One of the nicest courses in the Middle TN area. Prices are very affordable and everything is neat. Very nice country club and driving range, and you can hit off mats there. The guy in the proshop was very nice and assisted me with everything I needed! Would recommend to anyone, regardless of skill.

Played this course for years living in Mount Juliet. Was such a hidden gem, then was bought out and new owners have ruined it. 70+ dollars on a weekday afternoon and there’s not a tee time booked. Used to love walking up and paying a reasonable greens fee and enjoying a quiet round. Now I can pay 10-15 dollars more and play Hermitage or any other nicer, better maintained course.

This is the 3rd course I’ve played when visiting Tennessee but the 50thish course I’ve played and is the one one that thinks it’s okay to give out starter sets as rentals

Rate hikes are obnoxious. $82 is steep for what you get, to play on the weekend. Course was nasty. No real pace of play. Club house folks are nice enough. Limited options and hours for food and drinks. Being able to book online was good. But the value for the increased rate isn't worth playing here unfortunately.

For $71 you can play any Muni course in Nashville, Old Fort, or you could spend $15 more and play hermitage. All of those options would be 20-30x more enjoyable for you and your time. We just played a 5 hour round where the group in front of us was 3 holes behind their group in front of them. Every fairway was like hitting off of stone and the greens are so slow that you might as well chip off of them. The staff was very kind and the concessions were very reasonably priced. But I don’t go to the course to chit chat and get a cheap burger.
