Course Overview
Pine Creek Golf Course, located in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, offers an accessible and engaging layout for golfers of various skill levels. This public 18-hole course presents a balanced blend of open fairways and rolling terrain that invites a steady rhythm while challenging shot-making decisions. With a classic parkland style, the course threads through a gently undulating landscape framed by mature trees and natural creek features that subtly influence play without overwhelming the golfer.
Players are greeted with larger-than-average greens exhibiting noticeable slopes and subtle breaks, rewarding those who can read the surface accurately. The course’s front nine generally opens with more forgiving holes, making it approachable for higher handicaps, while the back nine introduces longer par 4s and par 5s that test distance control and accuracy amid shifting winds. This progression keeps the round stimulating from start to finish.
Pine Creek extends its invitation to both walkers and riders, with well-maintained cart paths and manageable walking conditions even after rainfall, an important consideration in middle Tennessee’s variable climate. The pro shop staff is known for their friendly service and flexibility in accommodating players’ needs, creating a welcoming atmosphere despite the course’s public status.
Though recent rate increases have prompted mixed reactions, the course remains a viable and budget-friendly option for local players seeking a solid test without the premium of private club fees. Amenities include a driving range and snack bar, with straightforward food options to maintain energy over 18 holes.
Strategically situated just off Logue Road, Pine Creek’s setting balances a quiet country vibe with easy accessibility from Mt. Juliet's urban areas. For golfers planning a visit, early tee times can help avoid seasonal afternoon wind conditions that influence the longer holes on the back nine. Players looking for an honest test that respects pace of play and demands versatile shot execution will find Pine Creek a steady companion in the Tennessee golfing landscape.
Course Highlights
The layout’s gently rolling fairways are complemented by sizeable undulating greens that reward precision putting. Creekside holes provide natural strategic elements, and the back nine’s longer tees encourage players to fine-tune distance control, especially under typical afternoon winds. Friendly pro shop service and an inviting practice area complete the straightforward yet engaging experience.

Fantastic public course with a great layout and big undulating greens. The front is more open than back. Last 3 par 5's played long, straight into the wind. Even with 3 days of rain, course was pretty dry. Proshop gentleman was nice and very accommodating by letting me walk out solo in front of everyone, even without a tee time. Highly recommend this course any time off yes

One of the nicest courses in the Middle TN area. Prices are very affordable and everything is neat. Very nice country club and driving range, and you can hit off mats there. The guy in the proshop was very nice and assisted me with everything I needed! Would recommend to anyone, regardless of skill.

Played this course for years living in Mount Juliet. Was such a hidden gem, then was bought out and new owners have ruined it. 70+ dollars on a weekday afternoon and there’s not a tee time booked. Used to love walking up and paying a reasonable greens fee and enjoying a quiet round. Now I can pay 10-15 dollars more and play Hermitage or any other nicer, better maintained course.

Rate hikes are obnoxious. $82 is steep for what you get, to play on the weekend. Course was nasty. No real pace of play. Club house folks are nice enough. Limited options and hours for food and drinks. Being able to book online was good. But the value for the increased rate isn't worth playing here unfortunately.

For $71 you can play any Muni course in Nashville, Old Fort, or you could spend $15 more and play hermitage. All of those options would be 20-30x more enjoyable for you and your time. We just played a 5 hour round where the group in front of us was 3 holes behind their group in front of them. Every fairway was like hitting off of stone and the greens are so slow that you might as well chip off of them. The staff was very kind and the concessions were very reasonably priced. But I don’t go to the course to chit chat and get a cheap burger.

This is the 3rd course I’ve played when visiting Tennessee but the 50thish course I’ve played and is the one one that thinks it’s okay to give out starter sets as rentals
