This semi-private layout, designed by Jack Nicklaus, delivers a coastal golf experience that rewards thoughtful play and precise shot-making. Sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and salt marshes frame the wide fairways, while sea breezes introduce an ever-changing element that tests players' club selection and shot control throughout the round.

Had an absolute blast playing Turtle Point. This course delivered on every level. I shot my lowest score of the season here (81 from the Blue Tees), and I can see why. The layout is wide open, giving you the chance to be aggressive off the tee without constantly punishing you for it. The conditions were top tier. Greens rolled true, fairways were pristine, and the overall course maintenance was impressive. You can tell the staff takes pride in this place, and it shows. Everyone was incredibly hospitable from start to finish—friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. Also, pro tip: try the chicken salad in the snack shop with some chips. A perfect mid-round pick-me-up. If you’re heading to Kiawah, Turtle Point needs to be on your list. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a rewarding round in a beautiful setting.

Course was in great shape. Fairways were some of the best I have ever seen, felt like butter puring a wedge shot. Greens rolled a little slower than expected but nonetheless true. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

Our annual golf trip with the guys took us to Kiawah Island this year, and Turtle Point definitely did not disappoint. The course was absolutely amazing — one of those tracks you could play over and over and never get tired of it. The layout was super fun. A great mix of challenging holes that made you think, but also a few forgiving ones where you could be a little aggressive. You could really feel Jack Nicklaus’s touch in the design — strategic but very playable. The conditions were top-notch. Fairways were like carpets, the greens rolled fast and true, and the ocean views on a few holes were just incredible. It made even the tough shots easier to laugh off. The staff took great care of us from start to finish, and the pace of play was perfect — never rushed, never waiting around. Just a relaxed, first-class experience all around. Turtle Point was an awesome part of an unforgettable trip, and we’ll definitely be making a point to come back next time we hit Kiawah!

Did not play golf, but it looks absolutely beautiful and pristine. Watch out for the big alligator too. The restaurant has fantastic views on the back porch, service was excellent and so was the food.
