Teton Pines Golf Course
Teton Pines presents an 18-hole championship golf course carved into Wyoming’s mountain terrain, offering a carefully maintained layout that balances challenge with accessibility. Its parkland style, surrounded by striking Tetons views, provides a rich golf experience suited to dedicated players seeking a peaceful yet demanding round.
Course Overview
Located just outside Jackson in the heart of Wyoming’s rugged grandeur, Teton Pines offers an 18-hole championship golf experience that presents both challenge and charm. This private course unfolds across a spectacular mountain backdrop, where sharp elevation changes and natural features shape a layout that tests precision and strategy without overwhelming the casual player. The course’s parkland style, interspersed with waterways and forested sections, creates an engaging rhythm from tee to green. Wide fairways give room for confident drives, while smaller, subtly contoured greens guarded by sand bunkers demand thoughtful approach shots and steady putting.
Teton Pines is marked by its immaculate conditioning and the care evident in every detail—from the soft sand in the bunkers to the crisp, manicured greens. The course’s character lies in how it integrates with the surrounding landscape: the ever-present Tetons frame the horizon, lending an inspiring mood that refreshes focus with each hole. The front nine features a mix of open, sunlit holes, while the back nine shifts into more intimate settings among towering pines and quieter water hazards, rewarding golfers who can adjust their club selection and shot shape accordingly.
Although the course’s private status limits access, members and their guests appreciate the quiet exclusivity and well-maintained facilities. The clubhouse offers elegant dining options with breathtaking views over the course, enhancing post-round relaxation. Players should note that while the course encourages walking to fully absorb the terrain and views, water stations and on-course amenities are limited to preserve the natural setting, so planning hydration carefully is advisable.
Teton Pines suits golfers who enjoy a balanced test of golf set within a mountain environment. It invites players to engage with both the technical demands of the game and the serene beauty of a Wyoming golf destination. Whether tackling a tight approach through the pines or launching a drive toward the mountain panorama, Teton Pines provides an experience that respects the game’s tradition while celebrating its outdoor roots.
Course Highlights
Teton Pines is distinguished by its mountain parkland layout, sharp elevation shifts, and well-kept bunkers filled with soft western sand. Signature holes include the challenging par-4 12th, requiring a precise tee shot over water, and the par-5 6th, which demands strategic play through mixed fairway terrain. The course balances visual grandeur with golf tactical depth, framed continuously by the nearby Teton mountain range.

Played the course on 9/29/24. Course was in excellent shape for the end of September. Course had a lot of water which was great. Value for your money is ok. $295 for an afternoon tee time is a lot but golf in the Jackson area is just expensive.

Enjoyed kicking off the member guest tournament here in beautiful Jackson Hole. Tummy lobster rolls, chowder, sushi, meatballs and lamb chops were served to a great turnout crowd. Best of luck to all of the players!

I just got finished playing the bagpipes for the opening of the yearly golf tournament... for the second time. And had a great time, as usual! The greens are beautifully-maintained, the area is emaculently clean, the patrons are very friendly and appreciative of my music, and the Golf Pro, Mr. Matt Stireman, is awesome to work with. Pretty course, great views, and stunning conditions with bunkers that have the softest sand in the west. However, note that we played as guests, that only have the opportunity for afternoon tee times. A coupe of things we learned (for what was an expensive round) 1. We were not made aware of restrooms at tee off, and could not find anything on the course. After calling the clubhouse, we were told that on hole 14, there was a trailer for bathrooms 2. There is no water on the course - be prepared to pack your own 3. The only way to get drinks was before tee off, and assuming you had time to stop before turning to 10 - we had a group on our backs, so we called in to see if they could run some out, and were told no. For a pricy round, you will get a great course, however, you will feel like an outsider and get no love.

I really enjoyed this course. The track is really fun and challenging at the same time. The staff were great, the head pro and assistant pro were very helpful with getting on to play as a single and pairing me up. I would highly recommend playing this course to anyone. I’m looking forward to coming back in the Fall to play sometime. Thank you Teton Pines!
