This 9-hole course provides a refreshing alternative to the sprawling 18-hole layouts, inviting players of various skill levels to engage in a challenge that balances playability with scenic interest. Located just minutes from Big Bear Lake, the course stretches across well-maintained fairways flanked by soaring pines and rugged elevations, creating a setting where natural contours influence every tee shot and approach.
The layout combines par-3, par-4, and par-5 holes to craft a variety of strategic options and scoring opportunities. Wide fairways ease navigation for less experienced golfers while still presenting options to test accuracy for those seeking to refine their short and mid-game precision. The greens are generally receptive, shaped by subtle undulations that reward careful putting. Players often find the mountain air sharpening focus as mild breezes sift through the trees, a reminder that weather can impact each round.
Although compact, the course maintains a lively rhythm with holes flowing naturally from one to the next. The signature hole delivers a memorable challenge, framing a long par-5 with dramatic elevation changes and well-placed bunkers protecting the landing zones. Off the course, the clubhouse acts as a casual gathering point, offering a modest pro shop and friendly staff that contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.
Visitors should arrive prepared for walking terrain that includes gentle uphill grades; sturdy shoes are recommended to maintain comfort across varied surfaces. Golf course is fun. Staff is crap. Booked 18 over the phone. Get to the course and they turn us away after 9.

Great spot for golf. I come from the East Coast so we have lots of courses near my home with 3-pars. Nice mixture of 3,4,5 pars. Wide course with nice views.

Super fun nine hole course right at the base of Bear Mountain. It’s well-maintained with a fun signature hole and very nice staff. I’ll also give them a shout out on their merchandise. They had quite a great selection.

Love this course! Nice weather the day we played in June, cool wind and warm sunshine made a rememberable day. Interesting course design and well maintained green. Met couple nice friendly people locally, enjoyed the wonderful trip.

Meh, so so course not in the greatest condition. Do not do the night golf tourney! Huge ripoff, it is a joke. You cannot see a single thing it is like golfing in pitch black, holes are not marked there is like 1 99¢ lite stick on each green and it is impossible to see
