This 18-hole, public-access course stands out for its ease of walkability and generous fairways, making it a solid choice for golfers of all skill levels, especially those seeking a pace of play free from the typical challenges of elevation changes. The course's flat terrain invites a smooth rhythm, while the wide fairways encourage confidence off the tee, allowing players to focus on precision rather than punishment for less-than-perfect drives.

The course stretches over a moderate yardage, presenting a par that balances scoring opportunities with strategic shot placement. Lush greens respond predictably, rewarding accurate approach shots, while bunkers positioned around key landing areas maintain a tasteful level of risk and reward. A unique aspect of Eaglewood is its location adjacent to active flight operations, with the roar of F-15 fighters punctuating the round—a sensory detail that separates it from typical golf venues and adds a compelling edge to the experience.

Great course. ALWAYS in great shape no matter the time of the year. Easy walk as it’s flat. Fairways are generously wide if you miss hit. Nice pro shop with everything you need. It’s next to the air field so can expect to hear lots of jet noise. Overall this is a must play course if you’re in the area and can get on base.

Put your next round into full throttle by bombing drives, sticking irons into greens, and putting with confidence, while taking in the sight lines and thunderous F15s kicking in their after burners. The course is in pristine condition. The greens roll true and almost no signs of summer aeration remain. The fairways are excellent, and feature a distinct cut between fairway and rough. The grounds crew clearly takes pride in the course both in aesthetics and playability. Friendly staff. I highly recommend playing Eaglewood GC.

I attended some promotion to enocourage golfers to learn the new 2019 rules, and had a blast. Free class, lunch, and 9 holes. Anyway, this course is in the air force base way in the back. The staff is very nice and the guys I teamed with were cool. The course is very flat and predictable, so easier for bad golfers like me. All in all, it's worth playing here at least once.
