Course Overview

Milwaukee Country Club presents an 18-hole championship layout that challenges golfers while inviting shots of precision and strategy. Located in River Hills, Wisconsin, this private course is best known for its classic parkland style, where mature trees line fairways that demand thoughtful shot placement. The course’s rolling terrain adds subtle elevation changes that influence club selection and shot shape, encouraging players to engage both minds and muscles throughout the round.

The overall setting exudes a quiet elegance, with well-maintained greens and fairways presenting a smooth, fast playing surface. The bunkers are carefully sculpted and strategically positioned, guarding each green and punishing the wayward shot with firm sand. Water hazards come into play selectively, offering an additional layer of complexity, especially on the more challenging holes. This balance creates a layout suitable for low handicappers seeking a test while remaining approachable for mid-handicap players intent on improving their game.

Milwaukee Country Club’s playability extends beyond its 18 holes. The clubhouse offers a refined space for relaxation and socializing after the round, complete with dining and locker room facilities that reflect the club’s attention to detail and member experience. Walking is encouraged on this course, with gentle elevation changes and well-groomed cart paths providing comfort underfoot. For those choosing to walk, sturdy golf shoes with good traction will make navigating the pristine fairways and greens more enjoyable.

For golfers planning a visit, the course tends to be at its best in late spring through early fall, when the turf conditions reach peak health. This seasonality ensures a consistent ball roll on the greens and reliable lie conditions from the fairways. Overall, Milwaukee Country Club offers an experience that blends classic parkland tradition with inviting challenges, rewarding accuracy and course management in equal measure.

MCC is an amazing place! Always in flawless shape and can't wait to go back!

You're the most expensive club in the county but you don't allow your employees to get tips and give them a measly $17 an hour with no gratuity. Most bartenders and servers can make at least double that elsewhere doing the same job with tips and gratuity. This is why you're constantly looking for servers and bartenders on Indeed.

my folks have lived on hole #7 (I think) for decades. We have a lifetime supply of very expensive golf balls. they have always been helpful when I contact them for tree removal or access for such.
