The course isn't in very good shape as of early July 2025. I would have given 2 stars, but the staff are very friendly and helpful. They get your bags and load them up from the car. Shop staff also very nice and accommodating.

Great course! Top quality in all aspects and open enough that beginning golfers can still get around the track with a reasonable good time. The staff is really friendly however the pace of play is horrendous. Probably because it's a vacation course and all skill levels are welcomed and may e because the staff is so friendly; but it was super packed and a 1pm tee time led to a round that ended at 6pm. From what I've seen later tee times play much faster.

Wow, what a great little gem this is! From the fairways to the aprons (which almost all looked fake it was so nice) to wonderful greens that rolled true. So beautiful!! We had a wonderful time and most certainly will be back!! The staff was amazing too, from the bag drop to the maintenance staff to the bar, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Great job Beachwood!!

Our monthly golf group tried this layout for the 1st time and we all wondered why we hadn't tried it sooner. Found the course in great condition with great turf on the tee's and fairways. Greens were excellent and consistent from start to finish. The staff were all friendly and we all agreed to put Beachwood on our list to play again.

Played a week ago. Grossly oversold early morning tee times. Started us 20 minutes late. Range isn't open until 10:30a, got there early to hit and just sat there waiting. 5.5 hour round. No ranger in sight because they were playing a round a few holes behind us. Spend a little more and playa better course in MB

Had a really great time playing decided to go with this course as it was half the price of the top end we were considering. Glad that we did. We started before 7 AM and got done just over four hours. We were the second to tee off. Then there was split teatime so Folk started on the back nine mid morning and the course was filled up yet it moved quick enough. The staff was great. The course was in good condition. The greens rolled good. The sand bunkers were an excellent condition and had been maintenance the morning of. Overall, just an excellent experience. I can see why some people would rate it low based on frustration of pace of play alone, but I say Book with confidence that you will get to play some golf. Played the blues sloped 127 perfect day of golf 🦝🐗👏🏽🥇🐺🇺🇸🏆

I’d like to preface this review as coming from someone who works at a golf course, plays over 100 times a year, and is not too picky with what courses I play. On Monday, we played a warmup round for the week. The course was in subpar shape, with torn up fairways and neglected areas. When we returned on Tuesday just looking to hit the range, the course seemed to be getting repaired. I asked if the entire course was under repair, simply curious if we could sneak a 9 in, and the response I got was insanely rude. “It’s all or nothing. You can’t have half open.” Given that I’ve played courses this month with a few holes closed and temporary tee boxes, I know that you can work around it. Even if the course can’t work around it, a nicer response would’ve been appreciated. After hitting the range, we were sprayed on the putting green by water, ruining the glove on my bag. However, I honestly am grateful, as the grounds crew informed us that the rest of the sprinklers were set to hit us, giving us time to move away. It would’ve been nice for the pro shop to inform us of this. Finally, at 5:15, when I returned to the pro shop to grab another bucket and also lodge my complaint, it was closed-nearly 3 hours before their advertised time. If you’re in Myrtle, I would avoid Beachwood at all costs. Even at the low price, I’d rather enjoy a night on the town than get treated like I was below the staff.
