We played both the Pinehills and Palmetto course on the same day. Pinehills was in much better shape than Palmetto, especially on the greens. I prefer the conditions of Pinehills but the layout of Palmetto. Greens were not rolling fast on either course. 18th on Palmetto is a wonderful finishing hole on the waterway, especially with the sun setting behind you.

Loved the course, hated the greens. Greens were burnt and no mention when we made the tee times. If they had, we would have played somewhere else.

Played the Palmetto course and the course is in great shape. From tee boxes to green. Greens are in immaculate condition. Don't let these bad reviews talk you out of playing this course. Bag Drop area is awesome. It spoils you having those guys take your bags and you do nothing. You guys are amazing, Thank you. Pro shop staff was helpful and professional in every way. Pro shop has an abundance of gear to purchase. Cart girl was a little on the scarce side. Saw her once sitting in her cart chatting with her coworker at the hot dog stand on hole 5. How about driving around and selling drinks.

Played there Thursday, July 9. The greens were TERRIBLE. I paid $250 for four players. I asked for some reasonable green fees adjustment but can you believe that they said that they weren't able to adjust my fees? The greens are SLOW and actually have huge crater holes on them. I would definitely avoid playing there. I'll never play Myrtlewood again.

I recently had the pleasure of playing both courses at Myrtlewood Golf Club in Myrtle Beach, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The club features two distinct 18-hole layouts: Palmetto and PineHills, each offering its own unique charm. The Palmetto Course stood out with its scenic beauty, especially the 18th hole that runs alongside the Intracoastal Waterway. The fairways were lush and forgiving, making it an enjoyable round even for mid-handicappers like myself. Water comes into play on 11 holes, adding just the right amount of challenge without being overly punitive. On the other hand, the PineHills Course, designed by Arthur Hills, offered a more strategic game. The layout requires thoughtful shot placement, and the rolling fairways and well-placed bunkers kept me engaged throughout the round. The course was in excellent condition, with smooth greens that rolled true. The facilities at Myrtlewood are top-notch. The clubhouse is welcoming, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I also appreciated the on-course amenities, including the well-maintained carts and convenient snack bars. Overall, Myrtlewood Golf Club offers a delightful golfing experience with two well-maintained courses that cater to a variety of skill levels. Whether you’re looking for a scenic round along the water or a strategic challenge, Myrtlewood has something to offer. I look forward to returning on my next trip to Myrtle Beach.

Staff was very friendly and informative. They were having an issue with there greens and let us know ahead of time. We played the Palmetto course which is challenging but still a good course for the amateur golfer.

Waiting in line and guy behind counter told people that they were in front of us he was sorry about the greens and charge them 39. I ask about that rate and ask could he give us the difference in price and he didn't . I told him we paid 155 for 2 . His response was, I can charge you two hundred. Greens were unplayable! Never ever play there again! Thanks jerk!
