Harbour View Golf

Little River, South Carolina, USAGrand Strand

Harbour View Golf offers a welcoming 9-hole par-3 layout ideal for quick rounds and players honing their short game. Located in Little River, SC, its open setting and approachable design appeal to golfers seeking challenge without complexity.

Course Overview

Harbour View Golf, located along US-17 in Little River, South Carolina, offers a compact yet engaging 9-hole layout primarily focused on par-3 play. This public course presents an approachable golfing experience suited to players seeking a quick round or those working on their short game. Its straightforward design emphasizes playable fairways with minimal hazards, making it accessible for golfers of all skill levels while still providing enough challenge to keep the round interesting.

Visitors will find Harbour View Golf’s setting to be open and inviting, with holes positioned closely together. This proximity encourages pace of play but requires awareness of other groups, as stray shots can occasionally cross into adjacent holes. The course’s flat terrain combined with a mixture of mature trees and scattered natural debris occasionally adds variety without overwhelming players. Greens maintain a healthy surface, though quality can fluctuate depending on weather and maintenance schedules, especially after storms that leave pine needles and limbs to be cleared.

The facility keeps things simple and welcoming. Despite the absence of extensive amenities typical of larger resorts or private clubs, the clubhouse staff are noted for their friendliness and willingness to assist guests, enhancing the fundamental golf outing experience. Discounts and coupons available through the website offer added value. Although the course implements lighting for evening rounds, the available lights may not always be fully operational, so afternoon tee times are advisable to avoid finishing in dim conditions.

Walking is the preferred mode of transport given the compact layout, though golfers should anticipate some open sun exposure during warmer months. Comfortable walking shoes and sun protection will help maximize enjoyment. Harbour View also appeals to families and casual players who appreciate a relaxed environment without lengthy rounds or complex course management strategies.

For players returning after a hiatus or newcomers seeking a well-maintained par-3 challenge in the Little River area, Harbour View Golf is a practical, friendly destination. Its ease of access from US-17 and moderate pricing make it an accessible stop for those aiming to sharpen their iron play or enjoy a social round with minimal time investment.

Perfect easy and quick par 3. We only played 9 holes but the course was nice and open, not many hazards. The holes are pretty close together so you do have to watch for stray balls flying at you. Wasn't terribly busy on a Wednesday afternoon. Price was great for what it was.

Considering the extremely hot temperatures the week we were there , the greens had plenty of grass and the course was in pretty decent condition. It had stormed the night before , so the greens were littered with pine needles and limbs . But they were working to clear as we played. On their website they have a coupon available for $3 off a round that the clubhouse took off of the 3 in our group for a $9 savings . (Must show coupon)

Very nice par 3 course. Haven't played for a long time and just getting started again. The course was challenging for me, but not hard. The people (players) and staff were very considerate and friendly. I'm planning to return very soon.

The young lady was very nice to us but as we played only nine holes starting 6:30 pm the first hole flag had a condom wrapped around the flag. Then moving on to the rest of the nine holes there laid another on the green! It was getting late as we finished up and we called front desk to get told even though there’s lights on the course they did not work so we finished in the dark! Other than that the course is very nice !
