The Links Golf Club

Miramar Beach, Florida, USAFlorida Panhandle

The Links Golf Club in Miramar Beach delivers an engaging 18-hole links-style round shaped by bay breezes and coastal landscapes. Its approachable design offers challenge through strategic bunkering and wind-affected play, set amidst sweeping views of the Florida Panhandle shore.

Course Overview

Situated along the scenic shores of Miramar Beach, The Links Golf Club offers an 18-hole test where coastal winds shape every shot. This semi-private layout embraces classic links-style elements, featuring wide fairways framed by native grasses and strategically placed bunkers that challenge precision and creativity. The course’s setting by the bay creates an ever-present dialogue between player and environment, as sea breezes influence club selection and shot trajectory throughout the round.

The design favors a traditional links experience without the rugged extremes, making it accessible to a broad range of golfers while still providing a rewarding challenge for low handicaps. Expansive views over the water and subtle elevation changes keep the terrain interesting and engage the senses beyond the stroke of play. Greens are often protected by deep bunkers that demand careful approach shots, and the watery landscape comes into play on several holes, encouraging smart course management.

Visitors note the conditioning stands out even after heavy rains, with fairways holding firm and greens rolling true. The Links Golf Club pairs the natural coastal backdrop with impeccable upkeep, making it a compelling stop for those traveling the Florida Panhandle. The friendly staff, from the pro shop to the beverage cart, contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that softens the competitive edge of the layout.

Walking the course is practical and enjoyable, with paths that offer smooth transitions between holes and vistas of the bay around many turns. Those planning a visit should prepare for variable winds and bring layered apparel for coastal fluctuations. The club’s main facilities include a modern clubhouse with dining options and a well-stocked pro shop.

The Links Golf Club promises a golf experience where natural elements guide strategy, and each hole reveals a different facet of coastal golf. Its combination of visual appeal, shot variety, and thoughtful course setup makes it a standout within the Miramar Beach area.

It was a bit windy and chilly, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a great day at The Links. Thanks to Jessie Timmons and ALL the staff we encountered on the day. From the front gate to the beverage cart, service was friendly and impeccable. Course was in great condition after a weekend of heavy rain.

Great experience at The Links! Went out at the first tee time (7:30am) and got through the course in 3 hours flat with a quick stop on the turn. Course was in great condition even with the summer heat. Staff was friendly and helpful when needed. There is a range but it is irons only, so heads up on that. First time playing at Sandestin and excited to check out the other courses.

Over booked on a weekend. Already spending $100+ a round and telling you to speed up because they book tee times 5 minutes apart from each other. Book a tee time for 2 they put you in a group of 4 and then put a single behind you.
