Course Overview
Perched on the Eastern Shore of Maryland near Queenstown, Queenstown Harbor Golf offers an engaging golf experience enhanced by its dual-course layout and natural waterfront setting. This private golf facility features two distinct 18-hole courses, the River Course and the Lakes Course, each carving a unique identity within their surroundings. The River Course presents a classic layout characterized by gentle elevation shifts and strategic water hazards that wind through the fairways, challenging golfers to balance risk with precision. The Lakes Course provides a slightly more forgiving landscape with broader fairways and thoughtful bunkering, making it an inviting option for players seeking a round that tests shot-making without overwhelming pressure.
Both courses reveal views of nearby rivers and serene water features, making for a calming visual backdrop that accompanies every shot. The shifting winds coming off the water demand careful club selection and steady tempo, underscoring the courses’ subtle interplay between natural elements and golf architecture. Well-maintained fairways and greens illustrate an attention to upkeep that enhances playability and enjoyment across all skill levels. Whether walking or riding, players will find the landscape comfortable and accessible, with smooth transitions between holes.
Queenstown Harbor Golf is designed to welcome approachable play while still offering challenges for experienced golfers. The strategic placement of bunkers and water presents moments requiring thoughtfulness, yet the courses avoid undue punishment for less consistent swings. Social rounds, corporate outings, and tournament play are supported through quality amenities including a modern clubhouse and attentive staff.
Visitors and members appreciate the calm atmosphere paired with the thoughtful course design. The facility’s setting along Eastern Shore waterways ensures golfers can appreciate a blend of maritime climate fresh air and carefully crafted holes. For those planning a visit, it is advisable to consider weather conditions and bring layering options as winds can increase during afternoon play. With dependable maintenance and a layout balanced between challenge and approachability, Queenstown Harbor Golf stands as a noteworthy destination on Maryland’s golf map.
Course Highlights

Played the river course. Great challenging course layout with a lot of character. Course was well maintained, has amazing views and great facilities. Pam, the in the beverage cart was super friendly. Drove an hour and a half to play here and will be doing it again soon due to how great the experience was.

The course was great last year, however, things are drastically different this year. Tons of burnt fairways, greens punched during mid summer, and lack of grass all around the greens due to sod being placed. Not sure why the prices are at a premium when the course isn’t in good conditions.

Queenstown Harbor Golf is a great experience and perfect for a weekend golf trip with friends. The courses are fun and well-maintained. (The Lakes course was easier to navigate, and the River course was more challenging and scenic.) But the differentiating factor was Ron R. and his team going above and beyond at every step to help my 20-man, two-day outing be an overwhelming success. Looking forward to going back next year!

WOW what an experience!!!! Have 26 years of Military and Law Enforcement in our group. Upon calling speaking with Spencer, he advised that he could honor the Wednesday Military/Law Enforcement Price for a Thursday round. Wednesday did not work for our group as you know We are 24/7 on call. Spencer advised that I need to call back two weeks out to make our tee time. Upon calling back, JR answered the phone. JR advised that Spencer did not come in till later that day. I then informed JR of the conversation I had with Spencer with the discount being honored on our Thursday round since Wednesday were hard for us with our work schedules. JR was a complete asshole!!!!. JR stated he was Spencer s boss and Spencer did not know what he was talking about. So here we are playing on a Thursday having to pay full price. Good to see you care about your first responders. This will definitely be a one and done course.

We have been enjoying Queenstown Harbor Golf for over a decade and decided to hold our first weekend 12 person event there. Unfortunately we were not able to do the Stay and Play (it was booked), but Ron, Mike and the rest of the service team were impeccable. From the second we arrived everything was more than taken care of - top to bottom - from golf, to food / beverages, etc. etc. We never had to even ask for a single thing. So huge thank you again to Queenstown Harbor Golf. That's for the awesome weekend. ps. We did not even say how nice the course was as well. Saw other reviews on this and not which golf course they were playing. Both River and Lakes were impeccable.

My favorite course in MD over Whiskey Creek, Bulle Rock, etc. Can't beat the views, and the layout rocks. The condition has always been good, and the staff is excellent.
