Great course but be prepared to have a tough go of things unless you are a top level golfer.

Palmetto was wet, greens were slow and Barb R., Suzanne, and I missed 4-5 short putts each that slipped over the edge, went in and out of the cup, or hit the flag and shot off of it. All resulting in no birdies! Suzanne had the latter happen that otherwise would have been a hole in one! Arghhh! Still fun day, great company! I kind of like this retirement life! Normally, I would rate this course as a 5, but the conditions of the course after 6 inches of rain in 3 days made it a little sloppy and slow. There were also places on the fairway that carts had gone and left muddy tracks and muddy balls and casual water. That was unusual for the course as well.

These 2 courses are absolutely gorgeous with several coastal holes! The views are stunning and there are numerous bald eagles, ospreys, deer, foxes and all sorts of other wildlife. The other 4 courses are pretty great as well but these 2 are by far my favorite. Palmetto hole #13 has Phillip Delegals gravesite at the end just passed the green.

These courses are well maintained. The views on some holes are as good as it gets. Greens roll true. I think most holes are pretty forgiving. Pace of play is 4 hours or under in my experience. The dude who gave these courses 1 star is ridiculous. They are private and the courses do look similiar, but what's terrible about well maintained golf courses with great views? Nothing. My favorite course in the landings is Deer Creek. It's has the toughest greens, but it's a beauty!
