Located in Wisconsin Dells, this well-maintained public facility balances a natural setting with thoughtful design, creating a course that feels both challenging and inviting. The front nine demands precision with its tight, tree-lined fairways and smaller putting surfaces, encouraging accuracy off the tee and careful approach shots. The back nine relaxes its grip slightly, opening into wider fairways paired with larger greens that reward well-placed tee shots and confident putting.
Strategically placed bunkers remain a prominent feature while some areas are transitioning, with select bunkers blending back into the rough, adding an intriguing layer of course management. The course offers modern conveniences including electric carts equipped with GPS, featuring yardages to front, middle, and back of the greens along with precise measurements to hazards and selectable targets. This technology supports decision-making and pace of play, enhancing the overall experience.

Course was very well balanced with wooded and links style holes. Fairways and greens were reasonably well kept. Rough is thick (as it should be) and definitely rewards players for hitting the fairway. Some of the bunkers look like they are being phased out and are starting to fill in with rough weeds and such, avoid at all cost. The GPS system on the electric carts was absolutely fantastic. Gives yardage to the front, middle, and back of the greens and you can tap anywhere on the hole to get yardage to hazards. Very pleasant experience!
