Course Overview

Mt Cashmere Golf Course offers a refreshing 9-hole layout set against the expansive backdrop of orchards and the rugged Cascade Mountains. This public course, located just outside Cashmere, Washington, delivers an accessible yet engaging round suitable for golfers of all skill levels. With wide fairways and open sightlines, players encounter a design free of water hazards and trees, allowing the shifting mountain light and fresh orchard air to shape the game's rhythm.

The course’s straightforward layout allows for a relaxed pace of play, often under two hours when the course is quiet. Each hole provides unique sightlines that occasionally challenge a player’s shot placement, as the rolling hills can obscure pin positions beyond the visible fairway. The absence of trees or water does not diminish the setting; rather, it puts the focus squarely on shot precision and course management amidst wide, approachable fairways.

Practice facilities complement the course with a driving range located adjacent to the 9th hole. Markers clearly indicate distances from 100 to 250 yards, a benefit for players warming up or honing specific shots. A putting green is available, perfect for dialing in short games before stepping onto the course.

Mt Cashmere’s well-kept conditions reflect a commitment to quality maintenance, often cited by visitors as a key part of the enjoyable experience. The course’s friendly atmosphere welcomes beginners seeking a less intimidating venue, yet its subtle challenges offer enough complexity to maintain the interest of more experienced players.

Those planning a visit should note there are no tee time reservations required, making it convenient for spur-of-the-moment rounds. Walking is encouraged, supported by the course’s gentle topography and open spaces. Comfortable footwear is recommended to enjoy the terrain fully and the fresh mountain air.

For golfers looking to combine scenic mountain views with an approachable round, Mt Cashmere Golf Course provides a compelling option. Its blend of open design, practical facilities, and inviting pace create a golfing experience that feels both casual and rewarding.

This city course is tucked away and surrounded by farms and mountains. Only visited the driving range. The range has visible markers from 100 to 250 yards. The range is located by the 9th hole. The course appeared to be well maintained. The course was not that busy for a holiday weekend. No reservation required.

For getting out and get a quick 9-18 holes of golf in... I can get through the course on about two hours if nobody is in front of you and if you only have 2 guys playing... there is a nice practice putting green and driving range to warm up before you play. It's wide open and fun to play. Because I get good scores there.

Very new to golf so this was a good course to play. 9 hole course with lots of beautiful views of the mountains. Will be coming back here for sure.

This is a 9 hole course surrounded by orchards and beautiful mountain views. The hills obscure your view of where to hit the ball. No trees or water on the course. But a pleasant afternoon.
