We did not feel welcomed here. We are from overseas on a trip. The course design was beautiful but the recent rain damaged the fairways. Greens were good. The group behind us kept pushing us. Almost hit us twice with their tee shots. We were playing on or ahead of pace. They looked tobe locals or members.

I love this course. The greens, tee boxes and fairways were excellent. The layout is long, you'll get plenty of opportunity for driver and long irons. You can play this course for multiple yardages due to the large assortment of t-box areas. The greens are slippery! May take some getting adjusted to. The course itself is very beautiful in a wooded area in New Kent right behind the New Kent Winery. I found the staff to be very helpful and enthusiastic. Which is such a great change from some other courses. Charlie at the front desk is awesome! Their food assortment is relatively good they do have a beverage cart that roams the course. The driving range is all grass and well laid out. On a side note, the driving range balls are all in good shape and not old and worn out which I appreciate. The only criticism I have is I wish they had a better short game facility. They do have a putting and a chipping green but the chipping green is small and in a confined area.

Still the best course around! Played today in the scorching heat and the course was in excellent condition. The fairways were perfect. Like most courses, the greens have a few marks where careless golfers haven't repaired pitch marks, but overall Vinterra is amazing.

One of the nicer courses I've ever played, fantastic fairways, great greens....but miserable bunkers, and by miserable I mean extremely difficult (very fluffy, all good things but my gosh). Awesome course all around, a must go to for the Richmond area Things to be aware of -Long course, have to be able to hit far -Don't hit into sand -Greens are fast -Don't hit into sand -Fairways are in excellent shape -Course design is excellent, constantly making you think about the next shot -Don't hit into sand

Viniterra, along with RNK, StoneHouse & Brickshire combine these 4 local gems to make for the best 72 holes in Virginia! Even with last week's Aeration, the greens here already proved very true and fair. Stacey on refreshment duty was so friendly as was our pro shop chap! Only disappointments were the teeboxes on 15... and the bald tires. Yikes!
