Measuring approximately 6,300 yards from the white tees and playing to a par of 72, the course caters well to golfers of varying skill levels. The design features gently rolling terrain and wide fairways that encourage strategic shot-making rather than sheer power, making it ideal for both beginners looking to build confidence and more experienced players seeking to refine their short game.

The greens are known for their smoothness and often receptive surfaces, rewarding accurate approach shots. Players will find a practical mix of risk and reward, with several holes demanding precise club selection to avoid generously sized bunkers and undulating green complexes.

What sets Delaware Springs apart is its consistent conditioning throughout the year, particularly noted after routine maintenance such as sanding practices designed to enhance green speed and surface durability. While these treatments occasionally influence putting surfaces short-term, they reflect the facility’s commitment to course health and playability.

The course experience is complemented by friendly and attentive staff, a clubhouse that offers a pro shop stocked with essentials, and a snack bar recognized for its hearty menu selection—ideal for refueling between rounds. Golf carts are available, though walking is welcomed for those who prefer a more traditional outing. The layout's approachable length and forgiving lies invite repeat visits, especially at weekday rates that provide excellent value.

For players planning their visit, comfortable footwear is recommended given the walking-friendly terrain, and early rounds often reward golfers with pleasant Texas weather and softer greens. I played Delaware Springs for the first time. I had heard it was a great value, and it was.The course plays short, especially from the white tees, but it still posed some challenges. The greens were just treated and were a bit sandy, but they rolled true. Fairways and rough are in excellent condition, I didn’t have a bad lie all day long. The staff was friendly and the carts were good. The only drawback was no GPS on the carts. For a course located in a small Texas town, I was impressed. I’ll be back.

Nice golf course. Kind of easy and short but a lot of fun. The fairways were in great shape but the greens were just sanded which took away from a great experience. The place was packed and it was still only a 4.5 hour round.

I have been playing this course for years, and as usual it’s an excellent golf course. The course it self is in great shape with fast greens, and great fairways. The pro shop employees are always friendly and polite. Let’s not forget the snack bar cause the lady behind the counter is an excellent cook, and plenty of breakfast and lunch choices!!

My three sons and I played Delaware Springs for the first time and we had a wonderful experience! The course was in superb shape - greens were excellent and the fairways simply amazing! Of all the courses we have played in central Texas, this one has been the best by far!

Slow play was the theme of this course. Had to quit at 4.5 hours with 3 holes to go. This was the second round in 3 weeks. First one we finished 5 hours 15 minutes. We waited on literally every tee box on the back. Very disappointing 😞. Love course, but too slow. Will not be returning.

This golf course was in good shape when we were there in early June. Greens were smooth and fairways were nice and spongy giving good lies for taking clean divots. Good course for playing with your buddies. Incredible value for your money on a week day rate. I’d play here again anytime!
