Course Overview
Harpeth Hills Golf Course offers a compelling blend of challenge and accessibility just outside Nashville, Tennessee. This 18-hole public course sprawls over gently rolling terrain, where undulating fairways and elevated greens demand thoughtful shot placement and precise club selection. The course’s topography is highlighted by prominent uphill approaches and large, sloping putting surfaces that test both accuracy and pace control. Champion Bermuda greens provide a firm and fast putting surface, often rolling true despite the occasional adjustments needed from recent renovations. The absence of overly dense trees ensures ample sunlight and airflow, keeping conditions favorable for play year-round. This open feel invites players to embrace the subtle shifts in wind that can influence trajectory and shot shape, especially on longer holes with doglegs.
Visitors appreciate the staff’s welcoming approach and the course’s maintained conditioning, especially considering its municipal status. Amenities such as a well-appointed clubhouse, a pro shop stocked with essentials, and accessible practice facilities enrich the experience. Walking is encouraged, with manageable elevation changes and cart paths available; sturdy footwear is recommended to navigate varied terrain comfortably.

They don’t even deserve a star, it just stormed, and now it is beautiful outside. However, nobody will be allowed to play til 4:30, and it’s obvious the workers just want to go home😡😡😡

listen, I love this course, and I love our municipal golf system, but no twilight rate is a joke. $17 to walk nine with no mention of the aerated greens greens an hour before the sunset is just plain silly. at the least there should be a sign when the greens have been punched.

Good public course and staff. Greens are still a tad hard when they switched to champion Bermuda a few years back from Bent, but getting better and roll true compared to others. I’ve seen them roll close to 12.

Great course in great condition. Even with the amount of rain recently, the course is fabulous. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. Looking forward to playing here many more times.

New to Nashville have played all the top public courses Greystone, legacy , Towee, Nashboro, honestly Harpeth Hills is in the best shape and can give them all a run for their money !! Course is in super shape greens fast and firm , traps consistent and had a deep bottom . Rough is deep if you miss the fairways. Lots of up hill greens and mounding on the fairways!! Large sloping greens don’t get any better in the area of anywhere , PS $30 lol. Interesting long doglegs and cool par threes ! Definitely play here , enjoy ! Very friendly staff including a starter and water coolers omg they have what we need for the right price !!

Good golf course but the young woman working inside is completely rude and unprofessional. She laughed in my face when I asked where the pins would be the upcoming day. I’ve played a ton of elite courses. You don’t treat golfers that way.

Good course but the management is terrible the past 2 time I have book a tee time they have failed to put it in their system. I book the tee time a week in advance and when I get there or call ahead they inform me that they don’t have a tee time available. Awful management!
