I’ve played here in the past and generally had a positive experience, which makes this past weekend’s visit all the more disappointing. We were there to celebrate a friend’s bachelor party, but the Airport Course staff went out of their way to be unwelcoming and unaccommodating. The woman working in the clubhouse was curt and unhelpful from the start. However, the real issue was with the starter, who was outright rude and dismissive. One of our friends, who rarely golfs and had flown in just for this occasion, forgot his receipt. Instead of offering a simple solution, the starter made him go back to the clubhouse and dig through the trash to retrieve it. When he returned, the starter examined the receipt like it was a counterfeit bill. To make matters worse, he then told our friend he couldn’t share clubs with me and would need to rent his own set. No explanation was provided beyond a robotic, “It’s our rule,” repeated several times. Again, this was for a $26 round—not a private country club, and certainly not Augusta National. The entire interaction felt unnecessarily hostile and condescending. We were paying customers there to enjoy a special day, and instead, we were treated like a nuisance. This course will not be seeing another dollar from me.

Course is in VERY good condition for early spring. City of Columbus is doing a great job. Greens were smooth, tee boxes trimmed up and fairways decent for all of the rain we've had.

We had a group of 16 and had the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a golf course, besides that the course is nice and well maintained! Just beware of the workers.

Love this course. The wildflowers are a beautiful touch but dang the rough is brutal. It’s a public course so a little high rough is fine but the groundskeeper has it WAY to high….we spend too much time looking for our golf balls.

As of 4/16/25 conditions, the course was well maintained. My buddies are high handicappers so was looking for a course that was forgiving but well maintained which is hard to find nowadays. This course was perfect but was only able to fit in 9 holes after work on a weekday. Pace of play was great and we finished in 2 hours. Greens were smooth and well maintained as well as the tee boxes. Course is fairly flat and mishits are still playable even if you hit into the other fairways. The course is pretty open and not an extremely long course. Once in awhile the planes flying over us can be annoying but not enough to ruin the experience. Overall, the course is great for high handicappers, extremely forgiving which makes playing with friends who are new to the game more enjoyable.

Excellent little course! Very casual, not picky about clothing or anything. Perfect place to go play a last minute 9 holes.

Love playing at Airport! Course was in great condition, staff is friendly, and watching the planes come in to CMH is an added bonus. $30 senior weekday rate for 18 holes and cart!
