Course Overview
Meadowlands Golf Club in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, presents an 18-hole challenge that caters to a broad spectrum of golfers. Set within a gently rolling landscape, the course combines parkland features with well-maintained bentgrass greens that reward precision on every approach. Its layout offers both strategic interest and an approachable atmosphere, making it a strong choice for players seeking a balanced test without sacrificing playability.
The routing winds through mature hardwoods and open fairways, creating a rhythm that shifts from tight, tree-lined holes to more expansive, risk-reward scoring opportunities. Bunkers are thoughtfully placed, often guarding the narrower pin positions, while the greens showcase subtle undulations that encourage careful reads but avoid becoming punitive. Water comes into play selectively, often adding a visual element that challenges club selection rather than overwhelming a round.
Meadowlands demonstrates consistent attention to course conditioning. Bentgrass greens maintain a smooth, true roll throughout the season, enhancing both putting and short game execution. Frequent maintenance on tees and fairways keeps turf conditions favorable for crisp lies and forgiving footing, even in wetter periods. Players aiming to walk the course will find gently sloping terrain and well-kept paths conducive to an enjoyable pace, though sturdy footwear is advised during moist conditions.
Beyond the course itself, the clubhouse provides a functional and welcoming setting, suitable for pre-round briefings or post-round reflections. The staff consistently earns praise for their professionalism and support, whether managing tournaments or daily play. While Meadowlands maintains a busy schedule, tee times are managed to balance flow and comfort.
Designed as a practical venue that can accommodate competitive play as well as casual rounds, Meadowlands Golf Club invites golfers to test their skills while soaking in the calm character of its grounds. Whether tackling its trickier holes or enjoying the steady pace through the course, visitors can expect an experience that respects both challenge and approachability.
Course Highlights
The course features bentgrass greens that hold true putts and present subtle breaks, bunkers strategically placed to test approach shots, and a mix of tree-lined and open holes that challenge decision-making. Its conditioning and staff support during events have earned positive feedback.

Very good course. Bent grass greens in great shape. Probably only complaint was no showers in the men's locker room.

This is the first time I’ve played this course and it was very wet (they had over 5 inches of rain prior to my round). The course was in good shape and the greens were mostly good. It appeared several were under repair. Overall it was a decent round. I’d like to play it when it wasn’t so wet.

Myself and a couple other veterans founded Operation Providing Hope. We hosted our very first golf tournament here at Meadowlands and couldn't have been more impressed. The staff here is incredible. They put a tremendous effort into making sure we had everything we needed, guided us through the entire process, and helped with both set-up and tear-down. The clubhouse was more than adequate to fit our needs, plenty of seating both inside and out. The course was great, perfect for those who just wanted to enjoy the day but still challenging enough for those who play regularly. We are excited to book our next annual tournament and look forward to a repeat experience! Great job, and many thanks to you and your staff members!

Such a nice course. Had its fair amount of challenging holes. Course was in great condition. It’s a busy course so be prepared to wait a little between shots.
