Grew up learning the game in New Jersey, but now reside in South Carolina.. I missed the distinct feel of the courses in Jersey as opposed to the flat swamp golf of Myrtle Beach. Don't take courses like this for granted! And FIX YOUR BALL MARKS!

Charleston South. Early tee time. Muggy but ok. Sand traps remain a challenge at Charleston, both North and South. They lack sand and drainage. What sand they do have becomes hard packed, causing the club to skip.

PLAY HERE BEFORE THE 2023 GOLF SEASON IS OVER! *I’ve played thrice since August* This place is so well run. From the extensive short game practice area to the massive practice putting greens, this is a must play course. As my photos show, the fairways and fringe are in phenomenal condition. I played during late August, mid-September, and early October and the place stays PRIME. Pace of play is great and the staff are quite friendly. Arrive early and take advantage of the practice areas. The South course is challenging enough even when playing from the tips. All parts of your game are used when here. Seriously, get here and play.

I've played both of their courses over 100 times back when I lived in NJ, and always enjoyed them. Always nice conditions, they are very well maintained county courses. The courses are long, but very walkable.

Great county course. Well maintained, two 18 hole courses, putting green, chipping area, and grass driving range. Only downside is that the clubhouse is outdated.
