I had the privilege of photographing a wedding at Vail Golf Club and it it an incredible place to get married. The wedding island is a unique feature with amazing Mountain View’s. The golf cart rides to and from it are a fun bonus and even the interior of the ballroom has a great view.

The course is very nice, but not the best value in the area. Due to their location, the holes are just side by side in a long stretch. They still do a great job of changing your views and adding elevation changes though. For $150 a round you should at least get range balls included. I thought Breckenridge was a better course for less price if you're in the area.

I was very disappointed that there’s a separate charge for range balls to warm up with when you’ve paid for an expensive round of golf. Never had that happen elsewhere.

The course is in really bad shape. The green are very new, slow, and not rolled. It’s impossible to gauge approach shots and forget about reading the speed. The fairways are soaking wet all day long. The practice facility is great, sadly better than the course . Give this a year and it will likely be much better.

Fantastic conditions and staff were super friendly. Greens were true and fairly quick. Course layout is challenged by the space they were able to use when building it but still good. Pace of play was spot on and the place clocks all over the course so when you come to one you should see your starting time. I’ve never seen that on a golf course before. Biggest drawback for me was how close it is to the freeway and the non-stop noise of cars and trucks.

Nice course, not as nice as either keystone course or Breck. Good views. The starter was odd. We had 2 groups of 4 and she was VERY concerned about the first groups skill level when a couple of them didn’t have amazing drives. She walked up the fairway to watch their 2nd shots, came back to us and said quote for quote “they aren’t very good”.
