We played 18 here on Friday afternoon and were fairly underwhelmed for the $125 we were paying to play. Greens were filled with divots and patchy grass. Beautiful holes and good scenery but the pace was awful. Back 9 holes took us 3 hours to complete and we were backed up 2 groups per hole. Would give it another try but there’s plenty of courses nearby that are better quality for lower prices

Full tee sheet on a Friday morning with 8 minute spacing is a recipe for disaster. No other course that charges $135 has 8 minute spacing. 5:40 round is crazy. I have played golf for 30 years and this was on of the all time slow rounds. Two groups behind us quit at the turn. Perfectly sunny day...no rangers to be seen anywhere. Course itself was nice but please do something about your pace of play. A total joke.

The service, view and the surprise oven baked pizza was wonderful. The staff was genuine and friendly. I highly recommend breakfast with a view at the clubhouse. I have already recommended this to my friends who are planning a golf outing.

We played the Sundance course which was great. It was in good shape, the front was short but was strategic and made you play smart. Enjoyed the whole course but the pace was brutally slow. Reason for 4 stars is the round was nearly 5.5 hours. Every tee box had a 10+ minute wait once we got to the 3rd hole.

Our group of eight came to A-Ga-Ming as part of a bachelor trip, and it could not have been a better choice. The course is absolutely stunning—rolling hills, lush fairways, and breathtaking views of the water make every hole feel like a postcard. It’s one of the most scenic courses we’ve ever played. Beyond the beauty, the playability was excellent. The layout offered the perfect balance: challenging enough for our more competitive golfers, but still enjoyable and fair for everyone in the group. The conditions were top-notch from tee to green, and the pace of play was smooth throughout. It’s definitely on the pricier side—over $100 per person for 18 holes with a cart—but you can tell the investment goes right back into the course. Everything was well maintained and professionally run, and the staff was helpful and accommodating even with a larger group like ours. For anyone planning a golf trip, bachelor weekend, or just looking for a top-tier golf experience in northern Michigan, A-Ga-Ming is well worth it. We’ll be talking about this round for a long time.

Recently visited A-Ga-Ming during a family members birthday celebration trip. I had always heard great things about the course and was happy to finally get to experience it! We played the Torch and it offered a challenging and scenic 18 holes. The views of Torch lake on a few holes were spectacular. All of the staff we encountered was very friendly. The food in the club house was solid! Breakfast sammich and a Bloody Mary got the festivities kicked off right! I’ll definitely be back to check out the other 18 sometime.
