What has happened to this course? Played it last year and it was fabulous. Played March 16 - tees and greens were mediocre at best, numerous have large bare patches. Bunkers (which are very unique) need serious attention in edging and leveling and the most puzzling was no food, no alcohol, no water (someone said they sold bottled water and Gatorade in the pro shop, but come on). I’ll be watching comments and feedback and hope they get the course back in good shape and open the snack bar before I return.

Better shape than July 24. Tees and fairways are much better, not perfect, but better. Greens were hard and semi-fast. Some greens are ruff, but they're working on them, and hole placement was mostly in a good area. I'm not a fan of the "square" bunkers. The problem is they're flat. you can't see them from the fairway, so you don't know how the architect intended for the hole to be played. There is no visual interest or aesthetic appeal, and you won't know if you're in one until you get to your ball. However, they did actually have sand in them this year. If they would go back to the standard bunkers, this would be a very nice course to play and I would give it a 4-star rating. Without seeing the white sand, it just looks bland. Lake edges were trimmed as well as could be expected. Not Masters trimmed, but clean. Snack bar and beverage carts were open and running this year, that was a good thing. It's not a $70 course (that's what I paid), $50 would be about right.

Decent course. The employees were rude on multiple encounters. We had a storm coming close and was caught in it trying to get back to the clubhouse. We were never informed or warned by staff at all! Very disappointing. We have played this course for many years, every holiday and encountered more rude and condesending people this year than ever before! Staff and other players!

The ladies in the pro shop were most polite and helpful when I used the practice range and made a tee time. The course, despite the lack of rain, was in great shape. The course was fully booked, but we still played in 3 hours and 45 minutes. I most highly recommend this course !!!
