Absolutely astounded how we were treated golfing with our family and kids. We had 2 tee times 10 minutes apart, which i know you aren’t to tee off at the same time but we had no one behind us and had the kids. They little “security” guy came and not so nicely told us to split up so we did for a hole and the kids were struggling and no one was behind us so we started playing back together. At that point the “security guy” came and told us that if we didn’t split up that he would call the sheriff! We tried to explain to him that we had the kids and if we had someone behind us we would understand. He was extremely rude for no reason. We golf there on a regular basis and we will never go back. absolutely ridiculous

Have I played worse courses? Yes. Was this one of the best? No. I picked up a hot deal tee time on Wednesday for a Sunday morning 10a tee time for $25 per player. If I would have waited until the day of it would have been $15. The course and round was worth about $15. Check in was good. Pace of play was okay. It wasn't to busy overall. Course was dormant and the greens weren't the best. My buddy and I look at it as an experience. We try to play new courses. I would not recommend coming unless you are close like us traveling to Winstar. If you can find some cheap tee times, stop in. If you are wanting the best in the area, I really enjoyed The Bridges, about a one hour drive from Gainesville Municipal Golf. Take it for what it is, a Municipal Golf Course.

Great for a $30 muni. Pace of play is good on weekdays in the afternoon. A fun track. Conditions are what to expect with the price but they are doing a good job

I’ve played this course a few times and always enjoyed myself, despite the oft-mentioned cart paths in disrepair and several sub-par greens. The course is very beginner-friendly and easy to shoot, the fairways are wide, and the layout isn’t too challenging. Unfortunately, my most recent trip saw a fairly substantial jump in green fees — $40/player! As much as I enjoy shooting this course, the overall condition of it doesn’t justify a $40 green fee. I really hope they consider either lowering the price to something more fitting/reasonable, or making improvements to the course to justify this new price hike, otherwise they’ll likely lose my business except for perhaps the occasional weekday scramble. Definitely recommend playing it at least once if you’re in the area and have an itching to swing the clubs.

I had an amazing experience with Brady, who went above and beyond to explain the intricacies of golf. He even took me on a complimentary tour. His dedication, expertise, and kindness truly make him an outstanding employee and a wonderful human being. https://youtu.be/Hqa0r0bmrxM?si=zBCxOsWHR7Id1mjn
