It wasn't the easiest place to maneuver around to get to the beach ( gotta cross a busy high way). We had purchased a big wheeled cart to transport our cooler, chairs, umbrellas to the beach BUT there is sand covered step that was very difficult to maneuver, it would be better if it was a ramp. Our master bed in room 709A was very wore out and the sofa sleeper was horrible, the twin beds in the hall was the best beds but with us being older we wasn't able to use the top twin bed. We chose to cut our vacation short because we couldn't get a good night sleep. The beach was VERY crowded and not much space to set up your oun umbrella and chairs because the resort set up their own chairs and umbrellas for a fee ( quite pricy). If your younger and have older children it will be fine but you CAN NOT get to the beach with a baby stroller without someone one both ends carrying it up and down the stairs.

The Worst Airbnb Experience We've Ever Had – Avoid OhanaDestin.com at All Costs Our Airbnb was located at the seascape area resort. If I could leave zero stars, I would. This was, hands down, the most miserable Airbnb experience my family and I have ever endured. The property is managed by Jerry and Liron of OhanaDestin.com, and their complete disregard for basic hospitality and decency was both humiliating and infuriating. Let’s start with the biggest issue: NO AIR CONDITIONING for the first 2.5 days of our stay — in the middle of Florida’s brutal summer. Our scheduled check-in was at 4:00 PM, but when we arrived past 6:00 PM, we were shocked to find one of their staff already inside the apartment tampering with the AC unit. When we asked what was going on, she lied, claiming she was just cleaning and "changing the AC filter" — yet she came out with no filter, no tools, and no explanation. It was obvious they already knew the AC was broken before our arrival but chose to lie and hand over the unit anyway, pretending it was a surprise to them. When we complained, the “maintenance” staff they sent knew absolutely nothing about AC units. We had to teach her how the system worked just to get a basic diagnosis. They offered no meaningful solution — just told us they could cancel and refund us as if we could magically find a replacement in high-season Florida, at last-minute prices, when this trip had been booked months in advance. They did offer to move us — but to another unit that had been booked for the very next morning, which meant we'd have to move again and live out of bags instead of enjoying our vacation. Completely unreasonable and inconsiderate. Meanwhile, we were stuck in an apartment with 85°F+ temperatures and suffocating humidity. Their idea of a solution? Dropping off four cheap fans and one single portable AC unit — nearly two days later. The unit did next to nothing and simply recirculated hot air. Worse, they made us install everything, refusing to lift a finger. No effort to make it right, no urgency, and definitely no apology. To top it all off, we found dead German roaches in the kitchen. The apartment was not only uncomfortable, it was unsanitary. Despite all of this, they still refused to fully refund us for the days we suffered in these conditions. Instead, they claimed they had gone “above and beyond” by offering us fans — which was both insulting and laughable. What truly broke us was how heartless they were. My wife had recently undergone nasal surgery and couldn’t be exposed to heat for long periods without risking serious swelling or complications. Jerry and Liron at OhanaDestin.com don’t care about guest experience — they care about money. They lie, deflect responsibility, and pretend fans are a solution to no AC in Florida heat. Their customer service is beyond poor, their units are poorly maintained, and their attitudes are disgraceful. If you're considering booking with OhanaDestin.com, DON’T. Unless you enjoy roasting in a cockroach-infested apartment while being lied to by owners who treat their guests like an inconvenience, run the other way.

Stayed in unit 609. It was giving motel 6. Leaking faucet, moldy sheets/pillows, old everything, dirty rug, dirty nasty couches. Pool was okay. Kitchen was okay, fairly clean. They left us 2 trash bags. The only good thing is how close it is to the beach. And the view. Easy entrance. A good store on the 1st floor.

A Nightmare Airbnb Stay – OhanaDestin.com Put My Health at Risk and Ruined Our Vacation Our experience with OhanaDestin.com, managed by Jerry and Liron, was an absolute disaster from start to finish — and it directly endangered my health. We stayed in 488 Driftwood Bay Unit 97F Miramar Beach, FL 32550. We arrived after 6:00 PM for our scheduled 4:00 PM check-in, only to find a woman inside the unit, suspiciously fiddling with the AC. When questioned, she lied and said she was “changing the filter,” but she had no filter, no tools, and left with empty hands. It was immediately clear they already knew the AC was broken and were just trying to cover it up. We were never warned in advance — just handed the keys to a sweltering, uninhabitable unit as if nothing was wrong. The first 2.5 days of our stay had no working air conditioning, during a humid Florida summer. I was recovering from recent nasal surgery and medically could not be exposed to heat for extended periods. This wasn’t just inconvenient — it was dangerous. Instead of resolving the issue quickly, they sent an unqualified maintenance person who knew nothing about AC systems — we literally had to explain how it worked. Their “solution”? Offer to cancel our stay or move us to another unit that was only available for less than 24 hours, meaning we’d have to repack and move again the next day. How is that acceptable after planning this trip months in advance? It took nearly two full days for them to deliver any equipment, and even then, it was a joke: four flimsy fans and a single portable AC unit that barely helped. We were left to set everything up ourselves — no help, no urgency, no apology. As if the heat and dishonesty weren’t enough, the unit was also unsanitary. I found multiple dead German cockroaches in the kitchen, which made me feel even more unsafe and disgusted. For a property advertised as a vacation retreat, it felt more like a trap. Despite all this, they refused to fully refund us for the days we suffered through these conditions. Instead, they said they had "gone above and beyond" by giving us fans — an absolutely insulting response to a serious issue affecting both comfort and health. What hurt the most was how cold and indifferent Jerry and Liron were throughout. There was no compassion, no accountability — just deflection, blame-shifting, and the clear message that our well-being didn’t matter. To anyone thinking of booking with OhanaDestin.com — don’t. It’s not worth the risk. If you care about your health, your time, or your sanity, stay far away from these dishonest, careless hosts.
