Course Overview

Pebble Creek Golf Club in Colts Neck, NJ, offers an 18-hole layout that appeals to golfers seeking a well-maintained, inviting test of golf imbued with natural challenge. This par-71 course stretches over a moderate length that invites players of all skill levels to shape their strategy without discouragement or frustration. The design blends elements of traditional parkland style with subtle water features and bunkers that require thoughtful shot placement, yet the overall routing remains approachable and enjoyable for weekend players and casual rounds.

Set within gently rolling terrain, Pebble Creek presents a blend of open fairways and pockets of mature trees, creating a balanced playing field that rewards accuracy off the tee but offers forgiveness where mistakes happen. Five water hazards come into play on nearly half the holes, introducing a strategic risk-reward element that encourages confident decision-making. Bunkers, thoughtfully positioned and maintained to moderate depth, guard many greens and runways, offering visual interest without punishing less experienced golfers severely.

This is a beautiful, well - maintained par 71 course. It provides interest and challenges while allowing players of all levels to strive for, and possibly achieve their best score. Proper allowances are given for the gold and red tees making par a possibility for the shorter hitters. There are three par 5's, 11 par 4's and four par 3's. There are five bodies of water that can come into play on at least nine holes. The plentiful bunkers are well-placed, of moderate depth and maintained well. Rakes are provided despite the pandemic. When we played, it had rained for nearly five days prior, so carts were relegated to the path only. There were some soggy spots, but the course was in remarkably good shape considering. A compact clubhouse has a small shop, well appointed restrooms and a café with fresh coffee, drinks, snacks and a few hot items from the kitchen. There is a separate snack shack with restrooms on the 9th hole. We enjoyed this course immensely and look forward to going back.

Nice course. Not very long. Greens were awesome all of 2020 but were aerated & seeded end of season but were very good with some a little bumpy buts it's January & I was golfing. Course management is very nice. Good value

Him the management/ownership apparently is doing a lot of work on the course, the improvements are needed and appreciated… The course is quite forgiving and usually in relatively good shape… On the downside, I recently played four holes in it started to pour rain, less than 50° and was not offered a rain check… The sign no rain checks was not present when I paid… Very unprofessional and unappreciated. I guess they don't need the business
