River Bend Links
River Bend Links in Tunica Resorts offers a welcoming 18-hole public course with smooth Bermuda fairways and greens that invite strategic play. Its parkland-style layout combines accessibility for beginners with enough challenge for experienced golfers seeking precision and course management.
Course Overview
River Bend Links offers an 18-hole public golf experience situated just off Nine Lakes Drive in Tunica Resorts, Mississippi. This course embraces a straightforward layout, blending open, gently rolling terrain with Bermuda grass fairways and greens that reward precise approach shots. The overall style leans toward a parkland design, with wide fairways punctuated by mature trees and sandy bunkers that frame the greens. The setting provides an unpretentious but thoroughly enjoyable round, where well-maintained turf and smart routing create a consistent test of golf.
Golfers will find River Bend Links approachable for players across skill levels. The course does not rely on intimidating length but rather emphasizes accuracy and course management. Straight hitters appreciate the fairway corridors, while those still refining their short game can enjoy the receptive Bermuda greens that hold well under typical Southern conditions. While bunkers are a notable feature, the course’s management approach designates many as ground under repair, offering some leniency during play.
The layout runs to a modest length, suitable for a range of handicaps while still providing challenges in shot placement and putting. Open tee boxes encourage comfort for beginners and mid-handicap players, yet the variety of angles and undulating greens invite more experienced golfers to think carefully on every hole.
Visitors will appreciate the overall condition, which reviewers consistently highlight as very good, especially the quality of the Bermuda greens. The clubhouse serves as a simple but functional hub for check-in and socializing. While the service experience has been mixed according to some accounts, the course itself remains a valued option for affordable, well-kept golf in the Tunica area.
River Bend Links opens opportunities for walking rounds, especially in cooler months, although golfers should come prepared for warm Mississippi weather and bring hydration. Cart rental is available but walking is encouraged to better experience the course’s soft terrain. Whether searching for a casual round or a solid practice layout, River Bend Links presents itself as a reliable and accessible choice for public golf in Central Mississippi.
Course Highlights
River Bend Links features Bermuda grass greens praised for smoothness and true putting surfaces, complemented by ample fairway bunkers that test shot accuracy. The course’s open, tree-dotted fairways allow players to focus on shot placement over sheer distance. While the layout is straightforward, subtle green contours add a layer of challenge. The course’s affordability and condition make it a practical choice for casual rounds or those honing their game.

Very nice golf course. They tell you to play the bunkers as 'ground under repair' which makes for an easier time. The course itself is in amazing shape and the greens were very nice. I couldn't believe the senior rate of $39 for 18 holes and a cart. I had the best back 9 in several years. Shot a four over par 40.

Very nice course! Bunkers are over grown, but the course and greens are well manicured! And the gentleman that signed us in was extremely courteous! We definitely enjoyed playing and will be back!!

Played River Bend for the first time today. Great experience. Everything from check in to the golf course is top notch. Great value also. Best Bermuda greens I have played. Will be back soon.

The clubhouse gal is ridiculous&rude. We payed for 2 players (me&fiance) I am learning. So we let several, probably 5 or more singles/teams play rounds thru. We made it to the 17th hole and at around 6pm. I had to use the bathroom.. thats when she got rude with me and I will not tolerate ugly business. We got there at 3pm. She griped about "busting down 6 packs" when we got 3 each of 2 different beers. When I went inside to use the ladies room, she asked "is he almost done?" I said, "we are almost done, I'm learning..if it weren't for me, he would've been done long ago" and she went on basically saying we needed to leave because we've played 9 holes for too long. So I went to approach her again bc at this point, I don't even feel welcome on the course... I told her she was rude and she did nothing but try to defend herself. Entirely not how to conduct business etiquette. 10/10 do not recommend. Go play at Tunica Nationals. The people are friendly&the course is so much better kept. And you forsure will not be carried away by bugs. I can go on really but that just did it for me. I'd drive an hour away to play til dark for better company than hers.

My husband went to play a round by himself last Thursday morning. 3/27/25. The course was NOT busy at all. The lady in the clubhouse was RUDE from the get go! She was only person that he(we) encountered on our whole trip there! She needs some instruction in customer service! He'll definitely play Tunica National next time!

all the sand bunkers are over grown and green fulled. They do not spray for insects at all. Bugs will carry you away on the cow trail.
