To be clear, the review is for Gabby, the beverage cart attendant. She was awesome and the prices are reasonable! Golf course has a great design and is challenging, but needs a lot of work. Anyone that has played it already knows. Great scenery and beautiful neighborhood. I hope the course improves to match the service and surroundings.

Okay, so I have played red tail at least once a year since i was 15 years old. When the new management came and took over the course, conditions went south HARD. Over priced for playing. BUT, Today i played and i can definitely say the red tail I know is back. Greens ran true. Fairways were in great condition. Tee boxes are making a comeback and my round was worth the price. New golf carts and friendly staff all making it worth it. To the course superintendent PLEASE keep what you’re doing up. This is one of the best designed courses in New England.

Though I wasn’t paying for today’s round, I was a little concerned with some recent review regarding pace of play and conditions. For a Public course, conditions were very good and pace of play as well, we were a little slow with 2 new players, finished ~4:15. Only negative regarding conditions, a couple of the bunkers need new sand, and some wear and tear of sections of the cart path. Most all Tee boxes were in good shape, as were all fairways and greens. The challenge with most courses, even Private clubs I have played this year, is golfers not picking up broken tees, replacing or at least filling in divots and repairing ball marks on greens.

The course layout is awesome, if youve played a brian silva design, this is up there with renaissance. paid $117 for a friday tee time and well worth the price since it includes a cart and range balls. Conditions were really nice with the exception of a few tee boxes. well worth checking out

Shame… what was once one of the best courses in MA and New England had been turned into crap since new ownership. What used to be pristine conditions is now more of an above average municipal course but $150+ price tag. Greedy new owners, ruined one of the best layouts. Conditions are not in line with cost. But this is the 3rd yr in a row of same complaints yet they do nothing to improve the course.
