Renditions Golf Course

Davidsonville, Maryland, USACentral Maryland

Renditions Golf Course gives players a distinctive public golfing experience with replicas of iconic holes from legendary courses. Spanning over 7,000 yards in Davidsonville, this 18-hole layout balances strategic design with immersive technology, creating a unique challenge for all skill levels.

Course Overview

Renditions Golf Course offers an 18-hole retreat that both challenges and entertains golfers with its creative homage to the most iconic holes in golf history. Located in Davidsonville, Maryland, this public course provides a unique golf journey where each hole presents a carefully crafted replica of a legendary hole from famed courses such as Augusta National and TPC Sawgrass. The layout stretches just over 7,000 yards, set across gently rolling terrain that balances open sightlines with strategic bunkering and water features, inviting players of varying skill levels to engage and explore.

Unlike traditional course designs that rely solely on natural landscape, Renditions transforms familiar landmarks into accessible challenges that thrill without overwhelming. The conditions can vary, with occasional periods of cart-path-only rules during high heat or wet weather, so planning your round during milder conditions will enhance the experience. Greens and fairways demand a solid short game and thoughtful shot placement, encouraging golfers to test their precision over pure power.

The atmosphere throughout the round is enhanced by technological touches. Golf carts are equipped with GPS systems that not only help with navigation but also play thematic music corresponding to the iconic holes being played, deepening the immersion into golf’s storied past. Though the course is open to all, its creative concept and substantial length require a degree of commitment and skill, making it both a welcoming environment for avid enthusiasts and a proving ground for golfers looking to elevate their game.

Off the fairways, the clubhouse provides essential amenities including a pro shop, casual dining options, and practice facilities to warm up or refine your skills before or after your round. Walking is permitted, and the course’s terrain is generally manageable though sturdy footwear is recommended. For those seeking an inspired round that combines the historic with the modern, Renditions offers a memorable day that challenges the senses as much as the scorecard.

Course Highlights

Renditions is distinguished by its replication of classic holes from top-tier courses like Augusta National's Amen Corner and TPC Sawgrass' iconic finishing hole. The course integrates advanced GPS carts that enhance play with music aligned to the hole being played. Rolling fairways and strategically placed bunkers provide a demanding yet fair test, while water hazards punctuate the layout to consistently challenge shot-making and course management.

Played on 6/29 with mixed feelings about the experience. The course had some pretty fun moments and I found it interesting how they paid homage to some of the most revered holes in golf. The staff was also very welcoming and friendly. That being said, every single bunker on the property was completely unplayable, which is unacceptable for a course that charges this much in the middle of the season in my opinion. Also, as soon as you got more than an inch off of the fairway you ran into a mixed bag of lies depending on what kind of weeds were growing. There are way nicer courses for $100+ in the region and I left slightly underwhelmed at the end of the day based on what we paid and what was expected based on the website and other reviews. Oh, and having to pay for range balls on top of my $100+ round... also a pretty bad look.

First time playing this course, and it was in beautiful shape despite all the recent rain. I really appreciated the layout and enjoyed the round. The course feels open, which is great for someone who might shank a drive or two I didn’t lose a single ball, which let me truly enjoy the day. Overall, a great experience, and I’ll definitely be back.

Great course. Very cool how they replicated the most famous holes from legendary courses. From Augusta’s Amen Corner to hole 17 at Sawgrass, this course has you feeling like you are there. With GPS systems onboard your golf carts, the carts even play the Master’s music when you are at the corresponding holes. So cool! It was worth the 4 hour drive from VB, VA.

Drove an hour to play this course and was super disappointed. Tee’d off at 9:30AM, everything was normal, but the course randomly switched to “cart path only” at 11AM because of “high heat conditions”. It was 94 degrees and humid and we were forced to essentially walk the massive course without anyone mentioning anything about the switch beforehand (luckily it wasn’t busy but I could see how it could’ve gotten backed up significantly). The course was in pretty rough shape. The fairways were impossible to play from in a lot of areas because they either had standing water or were marshy (yet some places were bare and just dirt); bunkers had no sand and were full of nothing but rocks and grass; greens were full of ball marks, divots, and dead grass making it difficult to putt. Also, some workers on the back 9 would not move from the fairways or greens despite you waiting for them to move before hitting your next shot. All around was not a good experience at all. Save your money and play somewhere else nicer that’s more reasonably priced.

As far as the course goes it was amazing to see the replica holes. It was a very pretty course. Went on a Monday thinking it wouldn’t be busy and could take in the sites as this was first time at the course. By hole 6 we had a Marshall all over us just following us. We were off pace by 5 min at this point with no one waiting behind us. It killed the overall experience. If you aren’t a professional be prepared to play speed golf. Otherwise you will have someone sitting over you.the drink prices are anlso not reasonable out on the course. Didn’t see one cart person out on the course the whole time. Almost just wanted to get a refund and end the round. Beautiful beautiful course but won’t be going back.
