Course Overview
Taylors' Par 3 Golf Course offers a focused yet rewarding experience for golfers aiming to sharpen their short game in Bloomington, Indiana. This gently contoured 9-hole layout stretches just over 1,150 yards, presenting a diverse range of par-3 challenges that test precision and control rather than power. Defined by well-kept fairways and greens, the course invites players of all skill levels to engage with its straightforward but thoughtfully designed holes. The wooded perimeter around much of the course adds necessary discipline when aiming, as errant shots often find thick brush, encouraging careful club selection and shot shaping.
The tranquil environment here eschews the grandiosity of longer formats in favor of a crisp, approachable game focused on wedges, irons, and putting. The course’s moderate length and accessible setup make it an ideal destination for beginners looking to build confidence or more experienced players aiming to fine-tune their accuracy and short-range strategy. Walking is the primary mode for enjoying Taylors', with compact pathways winding through open stretches balanced by tree-lined edges.
Despite its smaller scale, Taylors' provides practical amenities including golf carts and push carts for convenience. Refreshments are limited but well-priced, adding to the casual, low-pressure atmosphere that encourages multiple cycles through the course in a single visit. Seasonal conditions affect playability; after heavy rains the course can take time to dry, yet maintenance crews strive to keep the turf in playable condition throughout the year.
Whether aiming to sharpen wedges, build confidence on mid-irons, or simply enjoy a brisk, accessible round, Taylors' Par 3 delivers a fine balance of challenge and playability. Its location just north of central Bloomington makes it a go-to spot for local golfers and visitors seeking an affordable, efficient practice venue wrapped in an unpretentious outdoor setting.

Great par 3 just north of main Bloomington, quaint and quiet. Generally well maintained when the weather allows. Does take a while to dry out if playing during the wet seasons. Fair priced all around, and huge hotdogs! Not the little whimpy ones!

Love coming here. Taylor's is the last par 3 course in Bloomington. 9 holes. Total yardage is 1159, an average of 128 yards per hole. Bring some extra balls as the out of bounds is wooded/heavy brush. Great course to get comfortable with your wedges, irons, and putters. Limited food/drink. Unlimited golf rates. Push carts and golf carts available.

This is a wonderful little par three golf course at a very reasonable price. For the most part the golf course is in good shape except after heavy rains. They do their best to keep the fairways and greens in good shape. Always friendly.

always had fun playing here. Do bring a lot of balls if you don't have a great control of distance and direction because they will roll into bushes. The $12 (2022 price) all day pricing is a good deal if you have the energy to play as long as you like. Or come back after lunch and a nap:)
