Rolling Greens Executive Golf

Ocala, Florida, USACentral Florida

Rolling Greens Executive Golf provides a crisp, executive-style golfing challenge with 18 holes designed for precision over power. This par-60 layout offers well-kept greens and tricky undulations that test players’ short game in a relaxed parkland setting.

Course Overview

Rolling Greens Executive Golf offers a distinctive golfing experience tailored to players seeking a brisk yet rewarding round in Ocala’s inviting landscape. This 18-hole par-60 course presents a compact layout that challenges precision over distance, featuring well-maintained fairways and greens that reward thoughtful shot-making. Set within a park environment, the course prioritizes playability and paced enjoyment, welcoming golfers of varied skill levels looking for a test that prizes accuracy and strategy.

The shorter yardage demands a keen eye, as the greens are known for their subtle breaks and smooth putting surfaces. Surrounding grass around the greens adds an extra layer of complexity, allowing recovery shots from close range while encouraging creativity in approach shots. Rolling Greens does not rely on length to present challenge; instead, its well-placed bunkers and natural contours invite players to carefully consider risk and reward at every tee.

While the course's layout is accessible and suitable for players from beginners to low handicaps, the true appeal lies in its ability to blend quick rounds with thoughtful design. The course is maintained with attention to detail, ensuring consistent conditions that make every visit dependable, especially during Ocala’s warmer months.

Amenities include a small pro shop and rental equipment options, although players should note the limited on-course services and plan to bring essentials such as water, especially in summer. Walking is encouraged to fully experience the course’s intimate setting, with relatively flat terrain that accommodates casual strolls without strain.

Although the course operates in a park setting, it offers a private-club atmosphere through its members-only policy, emphasizing a tight-knit golf community. Rolling Greens Executive Golf remains a practical choice for locals and visitors who seek an efficient, enjoyable round where well-placed shots and steady putting govern the outcome rather than sheer power.

Course Highlights

The course is highlighted by smooth, subtly contoured greens that elevate its executive length into a strategic test. Well-placed bunkers and grass surrounds require precision in approach shots, enhancing the short-game challenge. Its parkland setting offers open sightlines and minimal elevation changes, making it an inviting option for both beginners and experienced players seeking a manageable yet engaging round.

Nice short(but not easy) par 60 course. Well manicured and friendly staff.

Poorly managed. They quit selling water in the pro shop - who has ever heard of a pro shop not selling water in the heat of a Florida summer. It use to be a nice course, but the park management has made the golfing experience unbearable. Needs new management!

Worst experience EVER!! Some creepy guy who works on the course was extremely rude to a veteran and his wife and their kids. He said we only had 8 minutes on each hole that’s “the rules”. He was extremely unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend.

Very nice course! It is in better shape than my home course which is more expensive to join. The grass around the greens are actually puttable from 6 foot off the green which is nice because the greens are challenging! Looking forward to playing it again.
