Coronado Golf Course
Coronado Golf Course in Hot Springs Village offers an engaging 18-hole executive layout with no par-5s, focusing on precision over distance. Well-maintained bent grass greens and approachable fairways create an inviting round suitable for golfers of all skill levels seeking a thoughtful test.
Course Overview
Coronado Golf Course offers a refreshing approach to golf nestled within the lush environment of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. This 18-hole executive course stands apart by featuring no par-5 holes, instead challenging players with a collection of par-3 and par-4 layouts that encourage precision and strategy over sheer power. Spanning just over 4,600 yards, Coronado’s design suits golfers who appreciate thoughtful shot-making and enjoy working with irons, making it an engaging option for players of various skill levels.
The course’s maintenance reflects a consistent dedication to quality. Bent grass greens roll true and present subtle breaks that reward careful reading while providing a satisfying putting challenge. Fairways are well-kept, though slightly narrower than some of the neighboring Village courses, adding a touch of test for accuracy without tipping toward frustration. The rough height strikes a balance between retaining the ball and allowing recovery shots to stay in play.
Water hazards come into play on two holes, injecting a dash of risk and reward and inviting players to sharpen their course management skills. Notably, Coronado requires no sand shots, as bunkers are absent—allowing golfers to focus on iron play and short game finesse. This distinct characteristic also reduces the intimidation factor and complements the course’s welcoming atmosphere.
Players can choose to walk or ride carts, with carts permitted on fairways under normal conditions. Walkers will find the course approachable, with manageable terrain and clear pathways. Adjacent to the clubhouse lies a well-sized pitch-and-putt practice green, ideal for warming up or honing those short strokes.
The clubhouse restaurant adds a practical convenience, providing a comfortable spot to relax and refuel after a round. While Coronado does not offer a driving range on site, several nearby Hot Springs Village courses fill that gap, making it easy for visitors to tailor their practice needs.
Coronado Golf Course delivers an inviting, thoughtfully maintained experience that appeals to beginners and experienced players alike. Its blend of approachable distances and smart design encourages confident play, making it a memorable stop within the Village’s diverse golf offerings.

Beautiful course in The Village at Hot Springs. No par 5, just 3's and 4's. Really enjoyed playing 18 here.

Fun short par 3 course that’s well maintained for a reasonable price. Whether you’re out for 9 or 18 holes of golf it’s a great place to play.

Great "executive" golf course. I'm not exactly the most avid golfer, and wasn't familiar with the term "executive" as it applies to golf courses, but evidently it means slightly shorter holes (no par 5's), with the added bonus of no sand to hit out of. Two holes with water in play and I somehow managed to not even come close to getting wet, so I'll count that as a win. You can rent a cart or walk (carts were permitted on fairways the day we went). They've got a little restaurant in the clubhouse, and a decent-sized pitch-and-putt practice green just outside. No driving range here, though Diamante (a private course), Magellan, Isabella & Granada all have one.

Golf course was in good shape. Green were challenging, but rolled true. Ruff was decent height, not hard to find your ball. All in all, I will definitely play again.

Very fun, executive course in the Village. Short par fours, short to long par 3's. Great for iron play. Another course with excellent bent grass greens. Great course for beginners, or low handicappers. Would give 5 if fairways on the par 4's were nicer, maybe just a bit picky here as compared to the other Village courses. Give Coronado a try.
