Heritage Golf Links

Tucker, Georgia, USAAtlanta Metro

Heritage Golf Links offers a well-rounded, 27-hole public course blending parkland features with rolling elevations. Its varied nines deliver approachable challenges for all skill levels, complemented by solid practice facilities and a welcoming clubhouse.

Course Overview

Heritage Golf Links presents a compelling golf experience for players seeking a course with approachable challenges and dynamic character in the Atlanta area. This public 27-hole facility offers three distinct nines that range in design and elevation, providing variety to each round. The course layout incorporates elements of traditional parkland style with gently rolling terrain, punctuated by sizeable greens featuring multiple tiers and subtle breaks that demand thoughtful putting strategy.

The setting at Heritage Golf Links feels both inviting and purposeful, with ample tree-lined fairways and natural undulations that influence shot selection without overwhelming the average player. Despite not being a lengthy course, the layout requires precision, particularly around the greens, where well-positioned bunkers and subtle slopes test approach shots and short games alike. The elevation changes add a layer of complexity on several holes, offering rewarding downhill and uphill shots that encourage creativity and shot-making variety.

This venue is well suited for golfers of all skill levels, with forward tees that promote easier play and longer tees that provide enough yardage for more experienced players to challenge their distance control and accuracy. The greens are typically receptive and well-maintained, though players are encouraged to respect the course by repairing divots and pitch marks during play.

Heritage Golf Links supports its on-course experience with a spacious putting green and solid practice facilities, inclusive of driving range mats and a short game area—ideal for dialling in before setting out. The clubhouse complements the round with a casual dining space serving familiar fare, making it a good spot to relax post-round. Despite some areas of ongoing improvement, the course maintains an enjoyable balance of playability and variety.

Visitors should note that while golf carts are available, walking is also welcomed, especially given the compact nature of each nine. Preparing for slight elevation changes and occasionally firm mats on the driving range will enhance the overall visit. Heritage Golf Links remains an accessible and rewarding choice for golfers exploring the Tucker, Georgia area.

Course Highlights

The course showcases large, multi-tiered greens that require careful putting and smart approaches. Significant elevation changes across the three nines provide engaging shot-making, from uphill chips to downhill drives. The layout’s natural tree lines and strategically placed bunkers add pressing but fair challenges without penalizing less experienced golfers.

The course was in good shape. The pace of play was fine. Clubhouse food was tasty. The practice area was nice. (matts wete a little hard). Two holes on the course had drinks for sale, but no cart girl, so that could have been better. Paid $60 to golf at 10 am on a weekday - Reasonable price. Overall, it was a good experience!

Had a fantastic time! Extremely fun layout with greens that were both challenging and fun to putt on. Layout isn’t long, but still challenging for everyone. Food in the clubhouse was great as well. Can’t wait to come back!

Getting better. They are putting a ton of work into the course and facilities. One of the nines has brand new greens. Another is under construction. The third….unfortunately hasn’t been touched yet which is why I only gave it four stars. Can be tough with quite a bit of elevation. Greens are huge but have lots of tiers and slopes. A good challenge and they often have good deals

Heritage hosted a batchelor trip for me and some friends and made it easy. The course was in great shape, and the pro gave me some pointers before my round that has helped my driver even today. All around good experience.

Best track in the metro Atlanta area. The new updates to the course are phenomenal and the good F&B is an added bonus. Staff makes you feel like you’re at your own private club. Highly recommend!

I had a really frustrating experience at Heritage Golf Links that left a bad taste in my mouth. My group and I (a group of women) were playing at a perfectly reasonable pace — we were on the green putting while the group ahead of us was still teeing off. So we weren’t holding anyone up. If we had sped up any more, we would’ve just been stuck waiting behind the group ahead of us. Despite this, the group of men behind us kept pushing us aggressively. They were hitting their balls dangerously close — some landing right next to us while we were still playing on the fairway. It was unsafe, uncomfortable, and completely uncalled for. To make matters worse, when the marshal finally came by, instead of addressing the group that was clearly being reckless and impatient, he let them pass us. Even though both our group and theirs had to wait nearly 8 minutes for the next group to finish teeing off anyway — so letting them through made zero sense. It felt like a complete dismissal of our group, and honestly, it seemed like the marshal didn’t take us seriously just because we were a group of women. We were treated like we didn’t belong out there, even though we were keeping up with the pace of play the entire time. This kind of treatment is not okay, and I won’t be returning.
