Adventure voucher terms

Version 2026-10-24-v2. These terms apply only to Adventure Collective adventure vouchers, not artwork gift cards.

Issuer and value

Adventure vouchers are issued by AdvGuides, LLC, doing business as The Adventure Collective (“TAC”). Vouchers are denominated in U.S. dollars and are not a bank account, credit card or general-purpose payment card. The purchased value is activated after payment confirmation. No customer account is required.

How redemption works

Redeem through TAC’s booking team for eligible trips, tours and experiences that TAC can arrange with vendors. Send your requested experience, dates and party size before booking. You authorize TAC to arrange the reservation on your behalf using your guest name, email, phone and necessary booking details, shared with the operator. TAC pays the operator using TAC’s own credit card; you do not supply TAC’s card or send your card details to TAC. A voucher code is not accepted automatically by vendors’ own websites, FareHarbor, Viator or other third-party checkout pages. A third-party listing does not establish vendor participation or guarantee TAC can arrange that booking.

Availability

Gift card usage is subject to availability of trips, tours and experiences. No guarantee that there is availability for specific trips or experiences is made by The Adventure Collective. Requested dates, prices, vendor participation, capacity, eligibility, age limits and weather conditions can affect a booking. A voucher purchase or booking request is not a reservation. TAC confirms availability, the total payable amount and applicable vendor conditions before using voucher funds.

Balance and partial payments

Voucher value can be used in part across more than one confirmed booking. Unused value remains on the voucher. TAC may temporarily reserve an agreed amount while completing a booking; reservations reduce available funds but do not reduce the total unspent balance until confirmation. Any cost above the available voucher value, including applicable taxes and fees, is quoted separately and paid through Stripe before TAC books. The quote states the total operator price, voucher portion, additional payment and disclosed operator cancellation terms. Payment alone does not confirm availability. If no booking can be made, TAC returns an unused additional payment to its original payment method and releases the voucher reservation. Vouchers cannot be reloaded, used to buy other vouchers, or used to send money to another person.

No expiration or inactivity fees

Adventure voucher funds do not expire. TAC does not charge dormancy, maintenance or inactivity fees.

Cancellations, refunds and required cash redemption

Request help before making a third-party purchase. TAC does not automatically reimburse bookings made independently. Confirmed bookings are subject to the vendor’s disclosed cancellation and refund policy, except where applicable law provides otherwise. If a cancellation refund is confirmed and received from the operator, TAC credits the booking total minus documented operator cancellation fees to the gift voucher, including any additional payment collected for that booking. Any amount already refunded in cash is deducted to prevent double credit. For example, a $250 booking funded by $100 of voucher value and $150 paid through Stripe, with a $20 operator fee, results in $230 credited to the voucher if no cash was already returned. If $150 was already refunded to the original card, the voucher credit is $80. Where a credit would exceed the program’s $2,000 maximum voucher balance, TAC returns enough of the additional payment to its original payment method before crediting the remainder. This policy applies only to amounts actually returned by the operator and does not limit cash refunds or other rights required by applicable law. A purchase refund returns to the original payment method where required or agreed and reduces or cancels the corresponding voucher value; a recipient does not receive both a refund and the same spendable voucher value.

Vouchers are not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Contact [email protected] for legally required small-balance cash redemption, refund requests, or if TAC cannot arrange suitable eligible services. TAC will review the request under applicable law. These terms do not waive statutory refund, cancellation, cash-redemption, consumer-protection or unclaimed-property rights.

Delivery, messages and safeguarding

Digital vouchers are delivered by email after payment confirmation. The purchaser receives a purchase receipt and may request a separate copy of the gift voucher. Check email addresses carefully. Personal messages are included as supplied, with formatting sanitized for safe display. Keep the voucher code private: it and the recipient email are used to access balances and request bookings. Contact TAC promptly if the code or email is lost or misdirected; TAC may require purchase evidence before replacement and will reconcile any value already used. Replacement does not create extra value.

Payment review and customer information

TAC may temporarily suspend use while investigating a disputed, reversed or potentially fraudulent purchase, subject to applicable law. We retain purchaser and recipient names and emails, purchase and payment references, balance activity, guest phone and booking contact information, sharing authorization and booking requests to deliver and administer the voucher. Stripe processes payment information; ClickSend delivers transactional emails. TAC does not collect card details in the voucher form. Voucher purchase does not subscribe the purchaser or recipient to marketing.

Contact and changes

Contact AdvGuides, LLC / The Adventure Collective at [email protected] for balance, booking, delivery, cancellation or refund assistance. The version accepted at purchase is recorded with the order. Later changes will not retroactively remove existing value, add an expiration date or inactivity fee, or reduce rights required by law.
